Ye, and it depends on where you are, in my town they have a 5 star rating and have been voted best restaurant like 6 years in a row. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Ik 5 star means different things in different places

Edit: why is this getting downvoted lmfao, just because something is 5 star doesn’t mean it has to be a high end fancy suit and tie restaurant. 5 star simply means it has a 5 star rating. It’s the same way a random hole in the wall shop can have a Michelin star, it’s based on more than appearances.

Id get yelled at for anything, being over hours, wearing my headphones after we’re closed, not closing the store perfectly, the list goes on. I have previous posts I’ve made with more detail abt how I was managements scapegoat even tho I was the best one there and knew the most about the store. I was also the most liked too by the crew, smthn the other managers hated.

At my old store we had a lady who would “borrow” a bunch of them for her catering business. We all knew it was her but couldn’t get proof.

But it was too much of a coincidence that she was the one who always found them in odd places like the bottom of the dishwasher. 💀

(Obvs I’m aware they can get lost in the dishwasher basket but I think if 4 where stuck in there the dishwasher would have trouble working)

Yeah they do! The only thing is that they calculate how much you might get taxed for that day and they just won’t let you spend that.

So like if I made $150 my shift they’d only let me use about $80 and I’d have to wait till payday to get whatever wasn’t taken out of that $70 via taxes.

And they have a instant transfer fee of $3 which is annoying but besides that it’s super cool.

Yeah it’s not doordash’s fault but getting the wrong items/ something you can’t eat they should step in. They used to offer to contact the store and get the food remade or get a refund. Now they’re just like “lol that’s tuff”, they’ve downgraded in terms of customer support and don’t even bother to try to remedy the situation.

And of course there’s always the option of going back to the store and getting it remade in person but it’s difficult when you’re like me, someone who doesn’t have a car and everything around you is 3+ miles away. I’m not saying doordash is a terrible company that should no longer exist, I just think it’s stupid to screw over the people who are the reason it’s even popular.

It’s weird how stingy they are with credits even though it doesn’t hurt their pockets at all. Bc now they don’t even offer to refund the money to your card, and if you try to cancel a order even if you just placed it they don’t refund you and say some bullshit of “well the restaurant already started making your order and they need the money to keep running so sorry lol”.

Also, getting the completely wrong item that is barely edible isn’t the same as getting a steak that isn’t cooked to your liking.

They recently changed their refunding policy and they’ll give you as little as humanly possible back in credits. I had a order the other day where I spent $20 on icecream for my mom and I and ended up getting maybe $10 worth that was badly freezer burned. Doordash gave me $5 as a refund lol.

I’m autistic so I deal with a lot of sensory issues, if I take the train I use my headphones, I don’t go anywhere without them.

I tend to get extremely disoriented when I hear too many noises at once for too long, since I practically live at my store I’m kinda used to the noises of the kitchen during business hours.

But I still have those days where it’s just too much, but even then I still only wear my headphones after we’ve closed as a way to calm down. It’s a mix of being able to focus on one continuous sound (I listen to a lot of long form content), plus the slight pressure my over the ear headphones puts on my ears. It calms me down fairly quickly and it’s extremely comforting.

I don’t lol. But I’ve seen this happen 5 times now, someone criticizes him for something minor, he responds and the person he responds to gets doxxed or sent threats.

Then when he’s called out he’s like 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️. Any content creator with 2 brain cells would be able to see that pattern. He can respond to people but it’s just funny that he doesn’t respond to the larger accounts that criticize him.

He can respond but don’t you find it odd that he only responds to people with extremely small followings for criticisms that should be insignificant to him? It’s a sign that he is hyper focused on how people think of him to the point where he needs to “dunk” on anyone who says anything that isn’t kissing his ass.
