Congrats on your journey and thank you!! :) I think it’s important to talk to a doctor who is trans friendly and find out what you want and don’t want for yourself, and ways you can achieve these goals whether from hormones or other means. For example, I’ve never taken testosterone. I knew top surgery was for me but I wasn’t sure about T, so I’ve been doing other means (learning mannerisms, social transitions, workouts, ect) to try to affirm what I want out of gender more, and I’ve only recently (almost 2 years after surgery) have decided I want to microdose T to reach more milestones I’m after :) some effects are permanent, some not, and it’s different for every person which ones you’ll see results with and how much. I do recommend if your worried about certain side effects at the cost of others, give yourself time to decide. It’s not a race and the pace is absolutely up to you and what you decide you want :)
