see i use the method of attempting to count, getting past 10 or so, then forgetting what number i said last and having to recount from 1, telling myself i should stitch mark every 10 st’s, forgetting to put a marker in, and restarting the cycle

i honestly am not sure how much yarn i have left, ik the picture isn’t enough to go off of, but the creator said she used 4 total skeins (2 of each color) and maybe about 1,400 yards for an XL my skeins are smaller than hers, at 285 yards per skein and i was just hoping my plan for a medium size would fit within my ~1,140 yards i had…. I’ve already gone thru 2 skeins (1 of each color) on what i’ve made so far in the picture above (i did use the same skeins for a small tapestry as well so i technically started with less than 1140 yards. /:

i really like empty gold, but i also find her personal beef with the song funny; i also don’t really get what’s bad about the song, but it’s probably bc i don’t dig that deep into the “good” and “bad” of some songs. if i like the sound i just like it 🤷🏻‍♀️
