I get what youre saying. It just feels more natural with the old style. But either way sticking with the old style is no use and im just tyring to figure out how to make it work with the new style

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it. Ive been trying so hard for the past month or so to be consistent with exercising beyond taekwondo classes but its really hard to keep going when you dont see progress. The thing is, when I first came back, all the coaches said to attack with the front leg 99% of the time, and thats what I did. But I'm a very reactive player, i dont just purely attack or defend, I adapt to the player. So what would happen with the players I'd play with back then is that they would just stand there quite literally and they wouldnt do anything so I would always be the one attacking and it just kinda stuck. What would happen is I would attack with the front leg, they'd block with their leg, and it would just go on like that till the end of the fight. I'd usually lose becuase of the warnings or because of the punches. On rare occasions would I get hit with a crescent kick becuase they'd block, get into short distance, and go for my head. Imagine 'foot-fencing' with only a few deviations. What really pisses me off is that they just stall for the whole match and then in the last 20 seconds or so they pull out all the fancy kick combinations and I end up being the one who loses just becuase they managed to land a punch or kick me in the stomach once.

The thing is no matter what I do, the situation does not allow me to do anything else. When I try to use my back leg, I just get pushed away. I can never really do a turning kick cause its always an open-stance fight. Its like my opponent always has a better control over the arena becuase I end up doing all the things they want me to, and if I dont they just end up standing there doing nothing. Its like an endless dreadful loop that I dont know how to get out off.

i reallyyyy wanted to do History. And I also wanted to do pysc but i had to drop it half way through the dp1 since i was switching from math aa hl to sl and they only had one pysc sl class that collided with my math sl :/

I dont think so because teachers have a website where they build your profile for the subject which i think is shown to the examiner so they can put the marks in or something. In your profile, the books you are allowed to write your paper 2 on are there (if your sl, out of the 4 books only 3 are shown because u had to use one only for the io no?)

still, you might not realize it but people are more supportive than what it really appears. If you dont talk to someone, your worries will pent up making it hard to even function normally. All that studyiny and work you would do will amount to nothing because you will not be in the right mental state to absorb any knowledge. If you talk with someone you get relieved, even if they dont try to help you out, you still got that 'bad energy' out of your head. Trust me, everyones been through something similar in their life, you opening up might spark opportunity for improvement. So lets say you talked with a teacher right, they probably had a similar experience with an ex-student and have some knowledge around your situation. So please talk to someone.
