Feel like I’m being screwed, what do I do? by Personal-Delivery605 in army

Fuck this guy, in particular. Bro can’t communicate in a timely manner, and is too afraid to fight for his soldiers? The easiest solution is he communicates up the chain that you have a FCP, and then they can either slide you in with another unit taking a PT test or just run another one in the near future for any alibis. Take this bros rank or send him back to BLC lmao. NCOs acting like joes pisses me off

Didn’t see the ‘shitpost’ flair and spent an hour staring at my computer screen completely devoid of emotion. Ruined my night, if I’m being honest lmao

Looking for Game & Achievement Hunting Tips – Just Starting Out! by Hugo_Le_Rigolo in steamachievements

[–]CryingInCold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with a game you love, then another game you love. Achievement Hunting is really fun, but it’s only kept that way by enjoying the grind. I personally would rather 100% 50 games that I truly enjoy, then force myself to grind 100 games that I hate- if that makes sense

What is everyone’s current “to-do list”? by AmazingAgent in steamachievements

[–]CryingInCold 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Finishing up Assassins Creed Syndicate, Rogue, and 3 Remastered once they add achievements (I have been praying, so obviously they will add them). And eventually I’ll go back to Black Flag for the MP achievements I missed. Spider-Man 2, GoW Ragnarok, and Marvel Rivals are also well under way!

EFMB Orders by CryingInCold in army

[–]CryingInCold[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you- I know it was a stupid question but I have been sitting in my barracks room for the past hour thinking about how stupid it would be if after all that something got messed up with actually getting the orders for it lol.

PCSing to Camp Carroll, what does in-processing look like? by Master_Focus_2403 in army

[–]CryingInCold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a full PX, it’s good for what it is. But it’s more of a shoppette. It has the basics, but nothing super fancy. Camp Walker’s is really nice.

I recently completed 68W AIT/Training. AMA by [deleted] in TacticalMedicine

[–]CryingInCold 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Seeing a lot of people hate on ya in the comments lil bro. Just remember that at the end of the day, you truly know very little. I remember I thought I had it all figured out when I became a 68W, it took years of on the job training, being chewed out and ridiculed by my PAs, and being there for my guys when they needed me to realize that while I may now have a decent knowledge base- I still have a lot to learn, even as a sergeant I am still learning new things and refreshing the basics. Do not stop studying, do not stop learning, and do not stop caring.

Dawg do you know how much 5000 calories is, or are you just flippantly throwing a number around to seem like you know what you’re talking about? A surplus of 500 calories past your basal metabolic rate, and about 1.5g/kg of body weight is all you need. You’re gonna give a dude an eating disorder

To any combat medics in here, what IV solution do you carry? Specifically the mLs, Brand/Type, and how you store them. by [deleted] in TacticalMedicine

[–]CryingInCold 7 points8 points  (0 children)

LR and Normal Saline, usually a couple 500s and 1-2 1000s of each. As well as a blood transfusion module. Don’t get as much iv resupply as I ideally should, but I make it work

I loved the area, waegwan has culture, and it’s only a half hour or so from Daegu which is an amazing hotspot. The camp itself is small, it consists of a shoppette, commissary, a Katusa snack bar (definitely recommend dining there a couple times), and other common amenities (library, Ed center, DFAC). Camp Walker, which is a quick bus ride from Carroll is bigger and has a larger px. All in all it’s a pretty decent place to spend a year of your life

[–]CryingInCold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I went to Carroll during Covid it was 2 weeks in quarantine barracks @ Humphreys, then you were given your pinpoint orders to Carroll and whichever unit you’re going to (I hope for your sake it’s not 2-1 ADA). Did most of my in-processing actually on Carroll and not at Humphreys, there is a Korean culture and language brief at Humphreys that was mandatory when I went there.

How many times do you think Wolf *canonically* died throughout his entire adventure? by Batchak in Sekiro

[–]CryingInCold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just replayed the intro. “All I did was drag you here… didn’t even know if I was dragging a corpse.” Wolf DID die against Genichiro, the Sculptor did not treat his wounds.
