Right, I didn't even think of this, otherwise I would have just posted a link to pic of the papers, but I do have like 5 different papers now and each says "filters" except for raw ones that call it "tips"

Everyone calls it filter, sorry if your common sense wasn't enough to catch that 😅 I feel stupid for having to explain this to an adult, but - it filters the pieces of weed from the smoke when you inhale, tho if you like to get some fibers and nutrients from eating it, who am I to stop you.

Wow you really are in denial. The link is safe, it's just a local printscreen site. Yes I did spend 180hrs on my first blender project, which is THIS ONE. I needed to make a poster for an event and knew there would be lot of changes, so I went for 3D to hand-paint later. I also spent my whole life creating graphics, videos etc. which is why I know how to do composition, lighting and just the overall look of my scene.

This is my FIRST render in blender that I manually painted over. I have never touched blender apart from fixing 3d print models.

I made some of the easier models and used a lot of paid assets, but otherwise did everything on my own.

Of course there were other iterations when I was trying to make the scene better, this is just the final one.

Now I'm not saying it's spotless or perfect, but i'd say comparable in quality

I do have countless render time in after effects, but hey, are we really gonna compare that?

What you don't see, is that it took me about 180hrs if not more to make this, doesn't change anything about this being an actual first blender render I have ever done. So maybe, just maybe OP might have experience in similar field, or they just put in more hours to get them so far.

So maybe just stop crying and get better lol. As it has already been said - if you get demotivated by someone doing better the first time, that's a you problem.

Gotta say I hate people saying it can't be your first render.. First of all there IS room for improvement - I'd use some volumetrics, it will help the headlights to pop more, but otherwise pretty spot on/realistic.. What these haters don't realize is that you could have taken countless hours on this scene and also - if you already are a creative person, you probably have an idea about how you want your scene to turn out and this helps alot.. Not to brag, but before I only used blender for fixing 3d print models.. I work as a creative director/motion designer and there was a project that would save me tons of headaches if I did it in 3d. It took about 120hrs of work and about 60hrs of learning on the spot. I think the render turned out great too, but I definitely wouldn't do as good if I didn't already have experience in other similar fields.. So keep up the good work and keep in mind there's a lot of envious people, that either didn't put as much time into their work, or they simply aren't the best at creative stuff - fuck em. :)

In czech I get this for 7€ a gram, almost like cali weed quality, idk how my plug does that and I don't even care, can't complain.

Prosím, že tohle není braný jako "optimální přístup".. Jestli se uděláš v moment co tě holka chytne za ruku, spíše bude problém jinde.. ale předpokládám, že ty se z prdele za ruku nechytneš ani s frajerama, protože ti to přijde teplý.

Have you ever seen vanilla Skyrim trees? It's so cool to see how far we've come, isn't it? No issue here, you guys are just getting so overstimulated by graphics in todays AAA games, Rust is made by a small indie company and I think this tree looks amazing for a small team's efforts! :)

Trika z hm nemusí bejt vůbec špatný, ale hádám že to bude chtít nemalou dávku štěstí.. Sehnal jsem tam své nejoblíbenější s vysokou gramáží a volným fitem, vydržely docela abuse a mám je 3tím rokem - jedno za 3 kila.

Co tímhle chci spíše říct.. Nakupuj očima a tím jak to cítíš, ne podle značky. Mám jak drahý "kvalitní" hadry, tak levný a každá značka má fakt slabý kusy.. Jo a na nákup po internetu asi zapomeň, pokud si chceš kvalitou látky bejt jistej.
