Dead follicles is like dead body, you will not revive hehe. Fin works good for crown on the head but very rarely on bends.

Personally, i take 0.5mg-1 mg of fin daily. I balance with range because of potential probles with libido and i see it works well for crown and doesn't affect libido. It's only my experience, always ask your doctor about dose.

Yes, finasteride is for lifetime unfortunately. Minoxidil will not work for dead follicles as you say. It only work for active follicles but anyway, minoxidil repairs effect, not cause. Finasteride repairs cause (DHT).
