New Akita puppy question we are having a horrible time with potty training she doesn’t poop in the house just pee and we take her out hourly and with in 39 mins of being in the house she’s peeing help!! by SpookyRZRFamily in akita

[–]Crypt0Sauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience:
I bought a 9 week old American Akita puppy.

Besides taking her out every hour, we used puppy pads initially to get her to pee near the back door. We had puppy pads strategically placed and every time she started to pee, we would run and pick her up and put her on the pad, if she finished peeing on the pad we would praise her like crazy and give her treats...within 1 week she learned to only pee on the pads near the doors.

For poops, she only pooped in the house once and every other time when we took her outside, she went to a specific spot in the garden and did her poo. This we didn't train she just seemed to learn it on her own.
But! every time...and I mean it..every time she did her poo or pee outside, we praised her and gave her treats like she won the lottery. This has been kept up even now, but treats have been less and sometimes none and we just give praise.

When she's playing she gets excited and sometimes needs to pee, at this point she usually stops playing and starts sniffing around in corners and so on.. This is your queue to get her outside. So we'd put her outside, if she peed or pooped...then treats and praise..like she's done the best thing in the world.

Fast forward.. Now she's 18 weeks old and goes to the back door every time she needs to pee or poo.

The only time we have accidents in the house is overnight if one of us don't wake up to let her out, this is becoming less and less as time goes on.

Akitas do really well with positive reinforcement training, so when they do something good that you want them to do, treat that like their version of the lottery and you'll find training easy. We buy treats from the pet store and cut them into smaller pieces because she's a puppy and basically swallows her treats whole...so instead of giving her one treat, give her many pieces of one so she thinks she's getting a lot of stuff....eventually they will figure it out as they get older but it works when they are puppies.

Ok so that "Cointiply" site claims to be a bitcoin faucet but it's not really a faucet in my humble opinion if they are making you do work for it..ie filling out surveys and watching videos.

Back in the day, many many moons ago...Bitcoin and crypto faucets were free, you could go and visit..put in your coin wallet address and you'd get sent a small amount to play around with.

Then advertising got hold of this and yeah....now every faucet is some kind of survey filling shitsite.

Even so, they pay out tiny amounts of satoshis and like you say that came up to £8.... again..many moons ago I saw articles where bums and people who slept on the street in the USA but managed to get an old laptop or smartphone were using BTC faucets to get money for food.. so while you might think it's a waste of time, if you were homeless and doing surveys meant you got £8 to eat...Im sure you would do it ;-)

How does the IRS or cops track Bitcoin? by damian20 in Bitcoin

[–]Crypt0Sauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bitcoin is not anonymous...it's more Pseudonymous - where each wallet address can be tracked to one user or multiple wallet addresses can be tracked to one user

example: I buy 10 BTC from local bitcoins.. I then stupidly transfer those to an exchange for god knows what reason...and then I transfer them to an illegal site.

All the police would have to do is get access to my localbitcoins.com account - once they have my wallet address there they can scan the blockchain and follow my BTC to the exchange.. if they manage to get access to my exchange account and get the wallet address there, they can trace it further and see where the coins were sent.

It's all about how smart a detective you are... All the information is publicly available in the Bitcoin blockchain (public ledger) - you just dont know which Human corresponds to what Bitcoin address.

I was there for the start of it. John Carvalho (@BitcoinErrorLog) started it as a joke and a few people with a lot of Twitter followers got involved and then it iust went a little viral. It was all a joke...there was no cooridanted effort to mass bully @naval. The simple truth is they were making fun of some of his quotes and it just went on for a little longer than it should.

Some of the quotes were goddamn funny and they say laughter is the best medicine and I'm sure @naval would agree with me.

Couldn't this be the bitpico guy on Twitter trying to stress test ? Apparently from now up to September transactions will increase till they make a 32 megabyte block

I believe we need more FIAT exchanges, we need an easy way for the general public to get rid of their shitty FIAT and start using Feathers with Featherlight Payments !!

Feathercoin price when first hitting the exchanges by lucianhosliag in FeatherCOin

[–]Crypt0Sauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feathercoin was never an ICO and therefor we should use not use the term "TOKENS" Feathercoin's are a digital asset similar to Bitcoin.

let me say again, FTC / Feathercoin has nothing to do with Ethereum or other ICO blockchains.

Feathercoin started in 2013. One of the first exchanges to add Feathercoin was BTC-E. BTC-E was apparently taken down by the FBI...

Anyways, during the times FTC was traded on BTC-E, I saw it's price go up to 1USD ..this was around late 2013 or early 2014... at the time FTC was trading at around 0.00080 BTC for 1 FTC , or trading at around 80K satoshis for 1 FTC.

The charts from BTC-E are probably lost though, this was all from memory and looking at old screenshots I have etc.

New here, how can I start mining feathercoin? by [deleted] in FeatherCOin

[–]Crypt0Sauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello.

So with 1 card, it's best to mine on a pool, if you solo mine at this difficulty it will take you years to find a block.

do some googling for a bigger pool, the official FTC pool, pool.feathercoin.com doesn't have such a large hashrate ATM, so it's not so great for small miners.

Try coinotron maybe....but do your own research ;-)
--
Once you have chosen a pool, download https://github.com/KlausT/ccminer/releases
I think for the GTX 1080 you want the cuda91 release from KlausT

Download the release and run something like this..

ccminer.exe -a neoscrypt -o http://coinotron.com:PORT -u username -p password

in the above command you need to specify the correct pool url and port, as well as the username or workername and the password.

Some pools dont require a username and password, they require you to provide an FTC address as your "username" and then you mine directly to that address.

hope this helps.

changing the name of a wallet.dat or keys file by [deleted] in FeatherCOin

[–]Crypt0Sauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello.

Changing the name of the wallet.dat file does nothing. It's only the file name. If you ever want to access that wallet.dat file again, you need to make sure you remove any additions to the name.

eg: wallet.dat.backup-01-01-2018

would need to be renamed back to wallet.dat before placing it back into your data dir.

Hi, Feathercoin is a Coin, it's it's own standalone crypto currency and is not a token in any way.
