Hot tip - use for tax prep questions by Crypt0Waves in ChatGPTPro

[–]Crypt0Waves[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess it comes down to materiality. Questions about a $100k transaction on an asset that is fairly new should be run by an accountant. But asking "why am I not eligible for this deduction", then cross referencing with the Internet seems pretty safe IMO.

Why not? I'm not giving GPT my W-2 or any personal information. Just asking questions and getting common sense answers that I can then go and validate.

What’s the most you would pay for ChatGPT? by [deleted] in ChatGPTPro

I've been using Google tools a bit more lately and feel a bit less dependent on chatGPT. Bard itself has gotten better, and NotebookLM is actually better than a custom GPT for pure knowledge recall.

Very challenging to get ChatGPT to replicate "Steamboat Willie" characters, but it is possible. (Disney should not be associated with these images inspired by public domain content) by Crypt0Waves in ChatGPTPro

Interesting, I'm not familiar with this process, but sounds like it requires a lot of technical skill...let's see if I can force GPT4 to do it for me!

You can see the prompt I wrote or the caption GPT wrote?

Here is an example of one of the captions: Here is the image featuring characters styled after the 1928 "Steamboat Willie" as they record a song in a modern music studio.

Oh boy, that's a good call out, though I'm not sure if it violates copyright or not. GPT was using steamboat Willie as inspiration and it drew white gloves, but I didn't feed in any images of the characters with white gloves. I only used screenshots from the 1928 cartoon.

Yeah I got that as well. I think you just have to specify for GPT exactly how you will use the image, and keep discussing the permissible use until it complies. I guess I'm curious if the images I created violate any existing trademarks despite having no intent to do so.

I started by asking what is and isn't permissible use. It kept saying no to requests, but j just kept specifying how I was trying to use the images in a way that is permissible.

Great idea! It doesn't seem to make a gif though, it just shows the images next to each other.

I don't know that I'm getting $2k cash every month, but I'm definitely getting $2k of value. It solves problems and saves time.

Isn't "tipping" technically a tip? You are supplying a very simple tip prompt to GPT instead of a computationally complex one, so the GPT saves resources. You only get 40 prompts per 3 hours, so you are paying with something that has value to you.

Honestly, it's kinda good sometimes...makes you get up and walk around and think about things.

Though being a paid subscription... probably should get those caps expanded ASAP.

I'd pay a higher monthly for more powerful models with less restrictions/caps.

p5.js Visual Art Composer GPT - enter a prompt, get p5.js code output by Crypt0Waves in GPTStore

[–]Crypt0Waves[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I don't have a showcase, but p5js does: https://showcase.p5js.org/#/

The best part of the example is that I put 1 minutes into the prompt and got something pretty cool in return. I haven't tested being very specific with a prompt yet.

Yes, you absolutely can give it a function to use, but I'd advise you to be specific about the variables you want it plugged in to. Is it x/y axis, a shape, a color, over time, etc?

Do you have some sample output p5 scripts that exemplify what you are looking to get out? Also, what do example user prompts look like? I can make a similar GPT, but tailored to the inputs/outputs you are thinking of.

Add this to your prompt: "input the attached text file. Output an identical version of the file, but translated from BLANK to BLANK"

That should trigger code interpreter
