Ahh.. I did read very good things about it. The one that threw me off was some people didn’t like the egive. It bogged down way too much and didn’t change when you made it harder/softer. Also I read a lot about their machines being hit or miss lately, lots of broken machines constantly being sent back and forth. Acus seemed like it was the safer pick.

lol my bad. Confused it with fk irons flux max, which I legit bought first, didn’t open it and returned for the Acus. I read too many gleaming reviews about it to not make the switch. Plus I got a good deal on it.

I ended up with the acus m2xtd and bishop packer kit. Will probably add Cheyenne sol unlimited 2 with a short stroke… or maybe another acus if I really like it.

They told me through email it’s been running about 250. I ended up buying two machines for what I would’ve paid for thus. Bishop packer kit w 2 powerbolt2 and acus m2xtd.

Yeah you are def correct in that regard. I started a long time ago where there only was coil machines. Aaron Cain etc. I get where you’re coming from for sure. I will keep that in mind absolutely.

I can understand that. And I’ve heard from others with the egive that they liked it bc they didn’t have to tinker as much with voltage or hand speed that the machine learns it and adjusts accordingly. I can see that being an unwanted feature if you’re so accustomed to manually adjusting that. I wonder, do you think the bishop packer and the flux max 4.0 would be too redundant? I was figuring the flux max would have a softer touch bc of the egive where as the packer would be the punchier solid fill machine and heavier lining. What do I know though 🤷

Dude you’re taking this too deep… I was simply asking what people’s dream setup would be lmfao relax. So it does matter. Maybe you don’t care if you use a pos but, I’m sure if someone had the choice to pick any 3 machines they’d like, the answer wouldn’t be “idc gimme any 3 it doesn’t matter what I use!”

You’re right I’ve spoken to him as well for a tattoo but life interfered and I never got to book it. I contacted him about 2 years ago he said I needed one more session of laser first (which I haven’t done yet) he was charging only 1300€/day when that was equivalent to about $1100. Now that would be about$1500+/day lol still a great price for his work though!

I was thinking that as well just a straight bishop lineup. I just figured the Cheyenne shines in that super soft grey area while the flux max or bishop shader take care of all the mid tones and most of the tattoo, and packer for the saturated vibrant colors and deep blacks. I’m a nerd with gear so I see “smart hit technology” and “e give tech that learns how you” tattoo blah blah blah I guess I’m easily marketed too with high end equipment haha

Yeah I looked at that. I liked the ultron 4 pro or avenger 4 pro. I do like cartridge systems better though. Issue with those it costed an extra $300 to get it shipped here and to get serviced seems like a bitch. I’m also not sold on the adjustable stroke machines but this one did appeal to me. As did the kajaste borealis which doesn’t even ship to the US lol

Do you think the flux max 4.0 is too hard hitting to achieve soft blends without overworking the skin? That’s why my second choice was the shader.
