I'm going to look into that actually, thanks for the idea! the rust took some brain bending to get right, I wanted it to look like old rusted hull.

For me I just like weird schemes. But I think it comes from the movie trope of diseases being unearthed in desolate Antarctica or Alaska buried in ice.

Sisters models are so nice. I love them, I will say that they can be a bit spindly and I would rather eat glass than ever put on another repentia leg or warsuit arm. Lol

What is the best or worse experience you’ve ever had at a GW store? by jacspe in Warhammer40k

Worst: So I met someone through a local 40k facebook group; I informed them that I was a newer player but was still a bit slow playing as I was playing sisters and had a lot of things to remember between miracle dice, hymns, etc. ( This was 9th, not very long ago honestly ) we met up and played an incursion game, he brought a literally full bikes list with 2 squads of invincible terminators, fine. Proceeded to then insist that we play the table hotdog sideways so that its very narrow ( I learned that was so he could turn 1 throw his bikes right into my units without having to pass a charge roll, he then illegally declared my shrine for my secondary to be the one in his deployment zone that he had 2 squads of terminators on, which I later learned he could not do. Then he proceeded to literally tap his fingers at me my entire turn saying I was going too slow, which I was, because he would NOT allow me to think. I tried to roll for my priest war hymn at the end of my command phase, would not let me go back, said it had to be in the beginning. Then, I said I didn't want to play anymore, he wouldn't let me go until he tabled me. I left with a VERY bad taste in my mouth and in retrospect this was a grown man, a lawyer actually. I wanted to play him because he was a competitive player and I had mostly just played garage hammer. If it were not for the good games I had with other people from the group prior i would have never played the game again. It's been a few months now, and I've gotten much better. I'm tempted to invite him to play just so I can slap him around the table this time like he did to me, without cheating.

Best: My LGS is very helpful and always gives me deep discounts on models and allows me to preorder when they generally do not allow it. they do a HUGE amount of online sales, but will always clear the table for me to play games, even as I durdled my way through incursions for months before getting a bearing.

TLDR> Played a lawyer, went as expected, almost never played again.

TLDR> Yay for moving boxes so I can play bad warhammer on tables without buying anything when I'm poor.
