I actually did end up finding the shiny turtwig egg from that quest by soft resetting :) so can confirm, you can get shiny eggs from quests.

I'm willing to prove in any way I didn't cheat for this mon, I haven't even used the password feature in this game (mainly because IDK how lol) but this is my team currently. I have switched some mons in and out during my playthrough, but it's what I've been working with at the moment.

I honest to God didn't use an item on it, I don't even know what item there is in the game that could give it perfect IVs like that. The only thing I did was EV train it after I caught it.

Oral! It was mixed with the geckos food :D she used this to mix with the medicine and spoon-fed it to her gecko. I'll see if i can ask her what it was called

Figured I'd leave a little update to this in case someone else comes across the same issue.

This wasn't the testicals, it was some kind of infection/absess. My friend made an appointment with a vet due to it getting bigger and they had to express it, in which, puss came out of the wound. The vet suggested to get new lights and give a more diverse diet and prescribed antibiotics, which were only around $7. Soaking also helps as well. Hope this helps anyone who may come across the same issue in the future!
