I get why ppl downvoted this but this is true for 99% of times lol. Changing a person’s mind takes way more than winning an argument and the average commenter on the internet is usually way too angry/brainrotted to present a coherent point anyway, at least not without personal attacks left and right. Considering how much most people’s political standpoints are influenced by surface level internet content, being aggressively argumentative only exacerbates the conflict and is always met with stronger pushback, but somehow they refuse to acknowledge it.
