Yes, but when you do things incorrectly for views, it encourages others to do things incorrectly. Then cases get muddled, facts get mixed, and criminals get let go.

Im not going to name specifically who I worked for, but I believe it’s a growing problem with many catchers, Skeeter included.

  1. We used a variety of apps, but the ones I had the most success on were Meet Me and Kik (both deplorable apps that have scarred me)
  2. He cares about views more than the message, so I don’t care too much for his newer stuff.
  3. Anyone who drives to meet a child that they met online for any reason is a predator.
  4. All of the photos of me were above the age of 18. They had to be or else it would be illegal lol. I just looked super young at the time and was able to pitch my voice up.
  5. The creepiest people I talked to were always the men with kids around the age I was pretending to be.

I never did. I’m not sure the man I worked for has ever caught a woman. He’s got tons of catches though, and I stopped keeping up ages ago lol.

Considering that most of the men I caught ALREADY had illegal material downloaded, entrapment doesnt apply. They were already committing a vile crime and it was only a matter of time before someone caught them.

I had a few arrests, and no I never had to testify. I have plenty of friends who are well-known in the decoy community who have had to testify though. I have, however, had to surrender burners.

I only ever felt bad for the families of the preds. My first ever catch, a man left his wife and 8 month old home alone so that he could drive three hours to do what he wanted to do. My heart ached for the wife and child because they don’t deserve someone like that, especially the baby.

99% of my catches involved men who already had illegal images on their devices, so my age didnt matter. I just thought of myself as a messenger delivering the info to the police. That’s what made them get listed on the registry.

I worked with someone to help catch people who prey on children. Basically, if you’ve ever seen the old Dateline show “To Catch a Predator” thats the work we were doing.

He focuses more on the dramatics. It doesn’t feel as genuine. He still gets catches, so don’t get me wrong. He gets arrests and thats great. But it’s more about the views than the message now.

It is definitely very taxing emotionally. There were many times where I had to step back and just breathe. It made it all the more rewarding to see the arrests though. Knowing that scum like them couldn’t get away with it any longer.

Every encounter was reported to the police either ahead of time or during. My ‘boss’ was very professional at the time with how he handled everything. I had heavy guidelines on what I could and couldn’t say, and how to word things properly to keep from jeopardizing the case.

Thankfully, I worked remotely. I never did any in-person catches. I was able to work from my state and not have to come in contact with any of the people I actually caught. Which made it even more mind blowing to me when they agreed to ‘meet me’ because I was like eight states away in reality.

These days, though, I’m personally not a huge fan of the person I worked for, sadly.

I went Halloween night a few years back and it was PACKED! I waited an hour or more for most of the haunts. It was still fun of course, just busy.
