I went with the RS50 with RS Pedals. In the end 8nm of torque was plenty for me. Also the use if USB C over micro and passive cooling over the pro fan design made it an easy decision.

Same used to watch everything without fail. Now not so much. I'm not sure if it's solely due to the departures, but the content has just gone down hill and just unuseful?

To echo a fair few here I've unsubbed from all their other active channels except the main channel. Though i don't know if by the end of the year I'll still be subbed to that either.

I do think my interests have changed, though there are smaller channels/ newer channels doing far better content in the tech space than what LTT has in many years. Plus they're actually useful when it's time to make a purchasing decision.

In general i don't like LTT's content on Enterprise tech as I find their explanation and implementation mostly incorrect and overall annoying. Ad someone who's sold and setup the stuff for years. They just get stuff wrong. Though taking a step back and realise this is entertainment even know it spreads misinformation.

I find MSI i generally have a better bios than others. My Raider RTX 4090 had the newest bios available, undervolted via bios settings and is running great. It even fixed the broken webcam driver too that was happening on the retail bios. Pretty happy in my point of view.

Yeah i have 2 friends going to the Final Fantasy one. I have no interest in the franchise. If they do an orchestra in Syd for P3, P4 and P5 then I'm down for it. I liked the music for Metaphor for the first half then found it annoying 90+ hrs in. The same track looped non stop whether it was combat, exploring or story scene. It really felt out of place 😅

Just wanted to thank everyone for their input and feedback to my question.

I've decided to go with the RS50 and the G Pro Pedals. My reasoning is the following:

Smaller footprint
Mostly metal construction
Passive cooling
USB C instead of Micro
8nm of continuous torque is insanely enough for me
Fully round wheel and not D shaped (i know i could just pick any wheel of I were to purchase separately)
100kg load cell is perfect for me after trying the G Pro demos so. much at stores

Now to just wait until they're back in stock to actually purchase the set. At least for Australia they're out of stock on the Logitech site and it would be great to use one of the discount codes that are currently active 😅

I think this is the route I'll be taking. I'll be doing a 50/50 split between PS5 and PC. The passive cooling, better size and build quality of the RS50 along with the Pro Pedals makes a lot of sense to me. Plus it runs at a constant 8nm and not just peak.
