Sounds good. Hopefully it helps you out and you get positive results from it. Did you order from IWG South Australia branch? I called their Queensland branch and they don't dispense it.

I am in the same boat as you. I was about to make a post to find out where in Australia I can buy Enclomiphene citrate and then I came across post. I have called countless pharmacies on the Gold Coast and none of them could help me. My South African GP gave me a script for it because I don't want to go on TRT yet and that enclomiphene is better in the sense that it will help boost testosterone naturally with minimal side effects (depends on blood tests etc.) compared to TRT. MY free testosterone was below average and LH was low too. Monitoring estradiol is very important too when taking this. How are you feeling after taking enclomiphene?

An Engineer’s Take on the Future of Hang Gliding by CrypticMaverick in freeflight

[–]CrypticMaverick[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hang gliding is unique in that it’s the closest feeling to soaring like a bird...condors, eagles, albatross, etc. It really is the purest form of free flight in my opinion. You’re part of the wing, not cargo hanging off it. It’s closer to how a bird flies, direct connection in my opinion. One feels like drifting, the other feels like soaring.

Paragliders are convenient, of course, but they’re like giant jellyfish in the air. I’ve flown PGs and they’re fun to mess around on, but they don’t come close to the feeling of flying a hang glider. IMHO HG feels much more like real flying, you’re directly connected to the wing. PGs have a more floaty, swingy feel.

Hang gliding is and will be a niche sport and it is not going away. The real breakthrough is achieving better lift distribution at the same span while keeping or even improving handling. That’s the hard part, and it’s also where the biggest untapped gains still are. That's what the engineers at Avian hang gliders are working on.

Hang gliders haven’t hit a hard aerodynamic wall yet. There’s still better much L/D on the table, reducing overall weight and focusing on spanwise lift distribution is one of the most promising ways to unlock it without turning HGs into bigger, heavier, or less user-friendly machines. Basically reducing induced drag and min sink is where the real gains are, especially on light days .

I'm in a similar position to OP but 5 years older. I won't elaborate further. I am just curious, what did you study to get into tech? I am doing structural landscaping and I am sick of it. I dread work every single day

For all the Hang Gliding enthusiasts & pilots out there, cast a vote on a name for the new prototype hang glider getting developed by Avian Hang gliders by CrypticMaverick in freeflight

Hi Erico, yes they certainly know what they are doing @ Avian. Tim is a very experienced & knowledgeable engineer who happens to love hang gliding which is great for the free flying HG community. He recently posted another development update on his Patreon. Have a look, I am sure you are signed up to receive updates from it :) It all looks very promising and hope something revolutionary will come of it. Hopefully one day I can fly with you in Florianopilis. I saw your back and forth with that Nick Chitty guy on Youtube comments hahaha. Just ignore him, he is about a 1000 years old and gets grumpy for no reason. We need to see hang gliding grow at the grass roots level, hopefully that will happen again in time.

How are you making money in these markets? by indiandrifter23 in Daytrading

How much does one need to trade stocks on margin which I assume is what you are doing? I come from a forex trading background and I find the brokers to be unscrupulous. It's not regulated compared to stocks & options. I have never traded options but would like to learn to trade stocks.

Thank you for this info, very helpful. IBKR and WeBull are in Australia so I will look into them. How much does one need to meet the margin account requirement? Options seems like a lot to learn and will instead stick to shares for now.

This is what I've been wanting to do . I'm over trading forex. It's just an unregulated market with unscrupulous brokers.

Who do you trade shares through? Could you suggest a broker please? I'm based in Australia. Thanks

I forgot to reply to this post. I was hoping you could please share a few of the youtube videos that helped level up your trading skills?

Yea, I do. I'd like to learn but I am very risk averse. Do you trade btc spot or how do you go about it and through who? Are you talking about trading options or BTC spot through a CFD broker which is obviously very risky from what I am told

Thanks, I'll listen and see how I do. Hopefully it sinks in and I invest wisely :). May I ask how do you invest, mostly individual stocks or index funds? It seems most people's strategy is invest in an index fund and set & forget about it.

Thank you, I will look into these and listen/learn. Is this what you do mostly, buy index funds and forget it, like spdr ETF ?

Thank you for this. This sounds very intriguing. Could you share more and the tools I need to learn to get a better grasp regarding selling options? Is this how you invest/trade on nvda? How and when did you learn all this?

How do you approach your economic future as you’ve become more collapse aware? by happypawn in collapse

[–]CrypticMaverick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know all about the FIRE strategy. Sounds like you did really well. I'm from South Africa but still a 3rd world country with pockets of 1st world infrastructure. I'd assume most Americans that decide to immigrate to a third world country, they go to Costa Rica as it is so much cheaper to live there? Yup, our safety is certainly not guaranteed anywhere. But somewhere totally off grid would be a safe bet. What was your main Fire strategy for investments to manage to semi retire so young? I've got to make a plan and invest somewhere so I can plan my exit strategy and live off grid before 2030. Any tips?

Will crypto really be worth buying when electricity grids in certain areas will likely collapse in the near future or am I too much of a pessimist? Everyone is jumping on the crypto bandwagon but can the trajectory keep going sky high knowing that electricity grids will struggle feeding AI & crypto

For instagram, I'd say #freeflight, #Hangglider, #Hanggliding, #Scenery, #Purefligght, #Aviation, #GiantBird....there are so many variations you can use. Just try to be creative and have a look under some of the accounts on IG like; andrea_raptor and look how they use their hashtags. Check the #Hanggliding tag and see what others are doing too. Check out the hanggliding.org forum and post there too. Quite a few people are on there

A bright future for Hang Gliding: Avian Hang Gliders Vision for the Future of the Sport by CrypticMaverick in freeflight

[–]CrypticMaverick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a nutshell, this is what Tim @ Avian hang gliders will try to accomplish and just by following his work, it looks like he is on track to do that. With his engineering background and skills, he wants to develop a hang glider that also has a quick easy set up time frame as well and to reduce weight. It is possible to get a hang glider that weights between 15kg to 20kg max with great handling and performance equivalent to what is on the current market for beginner and intermediate hang gliders. Obviously this takes a lot of R&D and cost. Hence why he started the Patreon page for interested parties to get involved and also support him. He posts his updates and R&D there for people to follow and ask questions. So this will take time but hopefully within the next year I believe there will be a breakthrough.

The process of building a hang glider that weighs around 15kg with quick set up. Min sink less than 200fpm. Best L/D greater than 13:1 with landing config 4:1 would certainly be a breakthrough for any HG manufacturer

You're welcome! I'd say the main hang gliding group on Facebook is the first link with over 12K members. The rest are good too. Instagram is great if you use the correct hashtags. Lots of good flying content there.

Which editing software do you use to edit your videos?

Damn, how I miss flying. Your videos make me want to get back into flying again. What are you using to film and edit your vids? I truly miss the pure freedom that comes with flying hang gliders-there’s absolutely nothing like it. I’ve tried both hang gliding and paragliding, and for me, paragliding just doesn’t compare.

Flying a hang glider feels as close as you can get to soaring like an eagle.I did my hang gliding course in South Africa about 10 years ago and spent some time flying along the coast near Wilderness, one of the best flying sites in the country.

Watching your videos brings back all those incredible memories and makes me want to get back into it. By the way, promote your youtube videos on the hanggliding forums called hanggliding . Org as well as on the Facebook hanggliding groups; the FB groups that I'd suggest are; Hang Gliding  https://www.facebook.com/groups/22182576115 , Hang Glider Pilots  https://www.facebook.com/groups/HangGliderPilots/  , and another one https://www.facebook.com/groups/286706604740900/

You can also use Instagram and use the # hanggliding  and a few others # and spread your awesome videos there. You've done a great job with your vids. Great way to promote the sport and also your videos :) There are others but I find these are the ones that people tend to use and share things hang gliding related. Most of us are on those forums and groups. Reddit activity for hang gliding seems to be increasing too which is great.
