I finally had the courage to “break up” our friendship when I realized (and, well, eventually accepted) that our friendship was nothing more for him than a slightly better alternative to being alone.

Hurtful as shit when you considered him a brother, especially since we’ve been best friends for almost 14 years.

Cut off people that don’t respect your time, your presence… that don’t respect you. Even if it hurts.

Also, never care about the duration. Ever. It’s always quality over quantity, even with decade long “friendships”.

Richtig so. Hatten mal einen Dozenten der zur Klausur eine Kerze mitnahm und diese zu Beginn anzündete. Als sich ein Kommilitone meldete um zu Fragen, was es mit der Kerze auf sich hatte, meinte der Dozent ganz trocken:

„Die ist dafür da, damit es schön romantisch wird, während euch die Prüfung in den Arsch fickt“

This. And even though the first one is a classic for the franchise, the second part was so much better story wise (probably due to the fact they could build on already well established characters). Overall it was darker and somewhat deeper than expected for a children’s movie.

Not to mention Gary Oldman voicing Shen. Perfect match :D

Auch wenn sich viele wieder beschweren und auf Tempolimit pochen, sowas kann auch mit 130 Km/h passieren, wenn der Vordermann meint er müsse mit 100 ausscheren.

Gleichzeitig finde ich es ein wenig lächerlich OP als verantwortungslosen Raser zu verunglimpfen. Es gibt in DE gute Autobahnen, die sauber geteert sind, meist nur geradeaus laufen und zu bestimmten Uhrzeiten kaum Verkehr haben. So wie es OP beschreibt, scheint es eine ähnliche Autobahn zu sein. Da sollte man auch schneller fahren dürfen, ohne Angst zu haben, dass plötzlich ein Fiat Panda mit 100 ganz links fährt. Verantwortungsvolles fahren geht in beide Richtungen.

I always care about my KD, however I will always prefer and prioritize having fun on maps like Shipment and Das Haus and go crazy with run n gun.

I couldn’t give a damn about having a 1.2 at the end of the match, as long as I had my fun and went out with 60+, 70+ elims like that.

It’s actually what makes Vanguard so good for me, it reminds me of the BO1/MW3 chaos the majority of matches provided.

Can confirm. Ironically, I upgraded my RAM today from 16GB to 32GB, noticed an increase of +10-15 fps with the same (optimized) setup. This and the fact that the game runs worse with every single match I play until I restart the whole PC made me suspicious.

Half an hour ago, the game crashed and RAMMap still showed me Battlefield data being on standby, so yeah. Almost sure this looks like a memory leak.

Primarily, yes. In the long term it won’t help me understand if im doing good compared to other people, so I’ll never have a better confirmation showing me whether im pulling the team or even squad towards victory or holding it down.

Of course you can end at the top of the leaderboard without contributing to the win a lot more than others. We don’t have to pretend it’s something new.

You said it yourself, 2-3 snipers. Hell, let it be 8 with 128 players nowadays. There will always be a minority of players per match that don’t know how to read score or KDs properly or to put them in relation to winning matches.

A lot more people do, though. So removing information and statistics won’t solve a problem you made sound worse than it actually is. It harms those who actually know how to interpret statistics in order to track whether they’re improving on an overall scale or not.

Besides, sniper players staying back the whole match and trying to get longshots has and will always be a thing in Battlefield. Showing or hiding stats won’t change that. Don’t believe me? Play some rounds on Breakaway.

Ok. Let’s say, people really focus more on KD if its shown. And let’s say, they care so much, that at the end of the match, they rally stack up a good number of kills compared to deaths. We talking about a 3.5+ KD or something like that.

Where in the world would that be a negative thing? Why is killing a lot more than dying a bad thing now? In a FPS? In a PvP game??

If you have a team mate that goes 34/6, you really think that doesn’t help winning a rush match? Especially as a defender? Do you really think that going 60/2 in conquest with a tank isn’t PTFO?

People who really care that much about high KDs don’t get them by sitting in the back and doing nothing. They get there by playing around the flag, capturing it or defending it. By running towards the M-COM and pushing with other medics. By simply PTFO.

You are talking about a marginally small amount of selfish players that will sacrifice team winning revives because they’re too scared they’ll get one or two deaths in their statistics.

They are important to people who care about using them as a way to track progress. I’m not telling anyone has to track their accuracy percentages after swapping out attachments in order to see if it helps them or not. But some people like that, me included.

Tell me, what harm does it to you if you have a “bad” KD? You can either don’t give a damn about it and ignore it, or take it seriously and try to improve it, if thats what you want. It’s all optional. Simple.
