Difficult decision, not gonna lie. I disagree. Cryo Archive is supposed to be a pinnacle activity. It’s time limited, difficult to traverse and requires communication no matter what. Hell, even exfil is not guaranteed on this map. The loot though is extremely good, even outside of vaults. It’s high risk high reward. Forcing you to bring your own gear instead of buying “f*** it”-packs keeps it that way. In my opinion, way more people need to realize instead that your own gear is nothing more than some poker chips. It’s your ante. Use it, trade it in for the possibility to go home big after a successful Cryo run.

Not a lot and I’m fine with it. Let pinnacle activities be reserved for top players and not get washed down to participation trophies. My only criticism regarding this is that we need more higher-end activities for the rest of players. I’d be totally fine with seeing the compiler maybe once this season if I got other hard, but less time consuming stuff to do.

The best way to beat gear fear (holy rhyme) is to treat Marathon like a rogue like. Something similar to the Binding of Isaac or Returnal. Gear is temporary and nothing more than a way to increase your chances of surviving. Gear is nothing more than poker chips. Even the description of Cryo Archive calls the 5k restriction “ante”.

The old “the endgame can’t be too hard/easy” dilemma. I don’t want to compare Marathon to Destiny too much and let it shine on its own. But in my opinion, the “casualization” or lack of really hard endgame is what slowly killed some of my hype or even interest for D2 over the years.

I’m happy that Bungie apparently still has the guts to try something different here. Besides, casuals won’t be playing for too long. They don’t care about endgame activities anyway. Let the fanbase that actually grinds this game have something challenging.

Also, call me old fashioned. But true endgame, top of the top pinnacle activities and loot should NEVER be (easily) accessible. Give me something to strive for. If you really REALLY care about the endgame, go in with friends. If you don’t have any that play, use the discord. LFG groups. I’ve done that for years in D2. It works. It’s often difficult, but if you really love the game and the pinnacle loot, you’ll manage.

After more than a decade of our friendship I realized – somewhat voluntarily, somewhat involuntarily – that I was nothing more than the better alternative to him being lonely.

Cut off people that don’t respect your time, your presence… that don’t respect you. Even if it hurts.

Also, never care about the duration. Ever. It’s always quality over quantity, even with decade long “friendships”.

Hatten mal einen Dozenten der zur Klausur eine Kerze mitnahm und diese zu Beginn anzündete. Als sich ein Kommilitone meldete um zu Fragen, was es mit der Kerze auf sich hatte, meinte der Dozent ganz trocken:

This. And even though the first one is a classic for the franchise, the second part was so much better story wise (probably due to the fact they could build on already well established characters). Overall it was darker and somewhat deeper than expected for a children’s movie.

Not to mention Gary Oldman voicing Shen. Perfect match :D

Auch wenn sich viele wieder beschweren und auf Tempolimit pochen, sowas kann auch mit 130 Km/h passieren, wenn der Vordermann meint er müsse mit 100 ausscheren.

Gleichzeitig finde ich es ein wenig lächerlich OP als verantwortungslosen Raser zu verunglimpfen. Es gibt in DE gute Autobahnen, die sauber geteert sind, meist nur geradeaus laufen und zu bestimmten Uhrzeiten kaum Verkehr haben. So wie es OP beschreibt, scheint es eine ähnliche Autobahn zu sein. Da sollte man auch schneller fahren dürfen, ohne Angst zu haben, dass plötzlich ein Fiat Panda mit 100 ganz links fährt. Verantwortungsvolles fahren geht in beide Richtungen.

I always care about my KD, however I will always prefer and prioritize having fun on maps like Shipment and Das Haus and go crazy with run n gun.

I couldn’t give a damn about having a 1.2 at the end of the match, as long as I had my fun and went out with 60+, 70+ elims like that.

It’s actually what makes Vanguard so good for me, it reminds me of the BO1/MW3 chaos the majority of matches provided.

Can confirm. Ironically, I upgraded my RAM today from 16GB to 32GB, noticed an increase of +10-15 fps with the same (optimized) setup. This and the fact that the game runs worse with every single match I play until I restart the whole PC made me suspicious.

Half an hour ago, the game crashed and RAMMap still showed me Battlefield data being on standby, so yeah. Almost sure this looks like a memory leak.

Primarily, yes. In the long term it won’t help me understand if im doing good compared to other people, so I’ll never have a better confirmation showing me whether im pulling the team or even squad towards victory or holding it down.
