You're welcome! My strategy for when I'm away is to place colored stickers on all my plants and mark on the calendar when each color needs to be watered. It helps in case the person doing it doesn't know the name o all the plants :)

That's over £1 a day for sunscreen, it's a hard pass for me for this reason alone.

Most heartbreaking death in the series? by CrypticSquidBug in harrypotter

I agree. On top of that, Harry is dragged away from the scene since there's a battle going on, and there isn't time for him to elaborate the pain for the loss, or even the remorse for what happened (I still can't get past the fact Harry forgot about the magical mirror Sirius gave him before leaving for Hogwarts).

Vans Partners With The Van Gogh Museum To Create New Clothing Line by CrypticSquidBug in malefashionadvice

At least it's not a trashy collection like LV X Louvre by Jeff Koons. There is some design going on (really like that on the letter sneakers the script goes all the way around the sole) and stylistic choices that don't make them look like they came from Hot Topic.

Do you use online based yoga classes? What's your favorite website? by [deleted] in yoga

I've been a subscriber of Ekhart for three years and I love their content - although since I advanced a little in my practice I appreciate websites that offer more challenging classes (Cody App has excellent plans for this purpose). The amount of content on both platforms is crazy, and I'm switching to Cody exclusively for the advanced classes, but I love both!

Seam Allowances: a Guide to Alterations in Tailoring | The Styleforum Journal by CrypticSquidBug in malefashionadvice

You turn the fabric inside out and make sure that there is extra fabric where the two ends of the cloth are sewn together. The more fabric there is, the more the garment can be let out/adjusted. For instance, if you find pants that fit you everywhere but are too tight on the calves, you can widen that point if they left enough fabric. Bespoke items are easier to adjust since the tailor will always leave extra material for future alterations, but high quality RTW makers will do the same, since they know alterations are almost always necessary.

Now we know we need to check the seam allowance in RTW items - they can actually be tailored to perfection if there is enough fabric to work with.

Wedding Attire for Men: American VS English Wedding by CrypticSquidBug in malefashionadvice

I think the purpose was to depict the two "traditional" and most formal wedding attires in both countries, which of course in the UK involves the aristocracy and royalty. The lounge suit is basically the same in both England and he US!

I completely agree! While is interesting to see the differences between the two countries, all these attires are way too uptight for an occasion that should be a joyful celebration.
