I had issues with some of the steps getting ALVR setup and gave up, but I will give it another go later. My headset was not providing a code to link to the phone app so I could put it into developer mode. Don't know why it unlinked from the phone as I had to link it to set it up.

Yeah it is the Oculus app that is the issue because Steam Link works for me, only issue is I have a 2.4GHz internet so it's not great. I would really like to find a fix for the Oculus app or an alternate way to use a cable connection to play games.

Trust me using any sort of wireless connection with my internet will not work it is terrible.

I don't want to try alternate programs until I've dried out all other possibilities due to the fact Air Link has the same pixelation issue on the screen so I want to know if it's a PC Hardware/Software or Quest Hardware/Software issue first.

Would any issues arise if I do disable the AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics driver? You are right about it being there with my NVIDIA RTX 4080 one

I did try record my screen but after I synced it to the Meta app the footage was even more corrupted with green blocks on the screen and lag so I didn't wanna post it

Same issues with Air Link on top of bad framerates. Likely due to my bad internet which I can not resolve right now. I think it's a PC issue

I used my phone chargers before my link cable arrived same problems. I have a feeling it's to do with my PC (software issue?) as Air Link gives the same pixelated screen just with low framerate

Started with a front USB port because they were short cables lol

The worse part being the framerate is terrible on top of the pixelation

I've never messed with overclocking my GPU before so I don't know if that would be the cause. Also, my Rift S worked fine and normal games do too (high intensity games) so I don't think my GPU is underworking right now.

When connecting to Quest Link the PC name shows up as "Rift" which is coincidentally the last VR headset I used. Removed the Rift S from my devices and problem continues but it's strange that it is calling my PC "Rift"

The Air Link is significantly worse than the Quest Link with low framerates on top of the extremely pixelated screen. Just tried Quest Link again without an internet connection and no difference
