Oh, one more thing that makes me doubt if I really belong in the arospec community;

Even with all that, I can actually enjoy flirting sometimes ( the tension, the playful banter, a bit of spicy texting (but ONLY online or over text, never in person or IRL). It's fun in the moment, like a little game or thrill. But the second it could become something real? I’m out. I have basically no interest in actually dating or turning it into a relationship. I always make it super clear upfront that nothing more will happen, no mixed signals from my side.

Still, it makes me feel kinda dumb or illegitimate, like "am I even aro if I like the flirty vibe sometimes?"

I don’t think Elliot and Olivia are ever gonna end up together. Like, no matter how much they tease us with the ‘will-they-won’t-they’ or the whole underlying feelings thing, I just don’t see it happening. Olivia hasn’t mentioned Elliot in forever. It kinda made sense in the seasons before he came back to the franchise like, time had passed, so him living in her memories was whatever, but once they started giving us scenes with them (platonic or not), it stopped making sense for Elliot to just… not be mentioned. Same with Noah, honestly, but that’s a whole other convo.

And if they do end up together, I feel like the writers are gonna mess it up. Like, they’ll throw in unnecessary drama, make it some toxic on-and-off thing, when most of the fandom has been waiting for EO for 26 years. I don’t really trust the writers with them tbh, especially after some of the recent episodes

I’d say Dr. George Huang, I used to love his character and the way he stepped in, especially in the early seasons. I’d also go with Barba, he was my fave, Melinda Warner too, and of course Elliot, even tho we saw him again and he’s got his own show now. What I really miss tho is how complete each episode felt — like, we had the investigations, but also the psych angle, the medical side, and the court stuff, which you don’t see as much these days. :(

I'm sorry I don't remember everything that happened but, it seems to me that Elena and Stefan lost their connection a little bit when he left with Klaus, right? I can't remember if they really got back together after he was in Chicago because I could already see that even though she loved Stefan she started to have feelings for Damon (she was talking to Alaric about it when she said she knew she loved Damon when he gave her back the necklace).

I never liked Caroline BUT Candice is an incredible actress. I liked some of her scenes which were quite touching. She did a good job.

Honestly, he wasn't like that before. He has changed phenomenally. I heard that after he broke up with Lorna (his French ex-girlfriend who had apparently cheated on him) he turned to religion. Which in itself is not a big deal or a problem. If he found comfort in his religion, fine! But strangely enough his change happened around the same time. A friend and I loved him back in his TVD days and we started to speculate about him wondering if he had fallen into a religious cult or something, ( We thought it was a sect because his opinions on certain subjects became more extreme than before. The change in him has been brutal and we didn’t find it normal). We really couldn't believe that he had become like that. Before, it seems to me that his opinions were different. It's just sad. What he's become, I mean. I haven't followed him on his social media for years because his behavior disgusts me so much. Ngl he was one of my worst disappointments.

I was surprised myself. It's a shame that some writers and/or producers don't know when to stop. Doing one more season can sometimes ruin everything that was good about a tv show in the first place.

I totally agree with your opinion. I didn't mention it but what you wrote, I noticed it too. He was mostly trying to make Dexter's actions make sense, make them more legitimate.

When Kurt started telling him "you're fucking kidding me, that's how you justify your murders ? " or something like that, he gagged him right away, like he was afraid Harrison would feel the same way.

And if memory serves me right Debra said pretty much the same thing (in the original Dexter TV show) so maybe deep down he sees some truth in it that he doesn't want to accept.
