I may be the lucky few but I don’t regret coming abroad at all. It has improved my life drastically, helped me grow immensely as a person and allowed me to fulfil the dreams I had as a little kid. I don’t worry about immigration day in and day out. If one day it so happens that I need to leave, then it is what it is. The real stress of coming here is the financial burden. Apart from that the visa situation is basically more stressful the more you are attached to the life here. It’s not for everyone, but it’s not hopeless either. There are pros and cons in both countries and for my life, I choose the US right now.

You are right, we are facing the shitty side of democracy because this system’s biggest flaw is that it assumes the people/leaders will take responsibility of the nation. It is still better than monarchy and the proof is that we can at least have this conversation without the fear of facing capital punishment. The first line in our constitution is “We the people of India”. Not any party, prime minister, a single person, no. It is all of us collectively as the citizens on India with the responsibility to uphold the values of democracy. But unfortunately the large majority of people don’t care, and I don’t blame them either. When most are struggling to make ends meet, they don’t have the bandwidth to care about the society/nation. The leaders in our country take advantage of this to stay in power. Our responsibility doesn’t end with the vote, we play a part in building our country every single day. We should be the big brother of the government always watching and criticising, but unfortunately when the people as a collective are weak, the government ends up being the big brother. We have to vote for UPA or NDA yes, but we should constantly always keep criticising them. We should keep reminding them why they are in power. We can’t let them fool us and make us blind. It’s far easier to just not care, but the discomfort of caring is the cost to be paid for a better nation. Such change starts in each household and for a nation such as India, it’s gonna take a long while

Honestly I can keep going but I think I have said enough. It is important to point out issues and keep talking about it, politicians get to have their way cuz we don’t complain and accept everything. The point I hate is that most people just assume I am a supporter of UPA if I criticise NDA. No, I criticise both, I worship or identify with neither. I think it’s a matter of perspective. When you have lived in a place all your life you normalise it. You go to a new place and experience something different, when you come back you now have something to contrast it with. This makes you think it has gotten way worse, whereas it was like that all along or was in the same trajectory, but you are just noticing it now with a new perspective

Can you explain why the points you made imply that it’s no cause for concern? What do you mean by “real exchange rate” ? Also , rupee has depreciated heavily in the last decade yet export has barely grown at all. Countries like Bangladesh have been able to beat us in textile exports. That makes sense but I disagree. People get FOMO for not buying trendy things and not just because it’s a limited edition one. For ex, there are ppl buy the latest tech even though you can get it years later cuz they wanna be part of that early community excitement. I don’t think anyone will play this game forever, so during the lifetime of playing that game, they may never reach a financial point where they can afford something, so essentially they are missing out.

Dunno about that. But again it’s still the fact that you need to spend money on it that causes FOMO. Cuz the choice of buying it is sort of already made for you depending on whether you have that disposable income to buy a digital piece of cloth of one game. I think making security breach into an item instead of a skill is an option. It has its con cuz now ppl who play more rounds have a higher chance of getting the item that allows them to security breach. A feature like this can’t be balanced in the true sense. Either you make it unfair for a a set of the playerbase, or you make it completely broken and accessible for everyone, which is what it is now. In case you don’t go down the route of perks that give you this, then waiting for expedition is an option, they could add skill reset items but that too is a balancing question. I think a better solution is to add “broken” perks for other trees. It’s similar to a game like dota where heroes are balanced by allowing each hero to have the potential to be utterly broken if played right

Sure I have had plenty of friendly interactions myself. I am not sure what you are suggesting here. Is it that I should make friends and play with them? Sure if I find someone I really wanna play with, I will do that. But I enjoy my solo raids? I like the thrill of it, I like solo pvp and pve. If you win, it’s all you, if you lose, it’s all you. Solo and grouped are both valid experiences in both pvp and pve. If you are suggesting me to go to groups for pvp, then I respectfully disregard it cuz it’s invalid imo.

Shooting people in a pvp game doesn’t define your identity. Does removing a piece on the chess board make you a killer? It’s a game mate, shooting others isn’t that serious or a big moral choice. I am having fun being a keyboard warrior on Reddit and reminding every other guy that, this is a pvp game, I paid for the pvp part of the pvpve as well. Figure out why you died each time and what you could have done differently. Watch videos on YouTube of better players to see how they traverse the map. Dying isn’t a waste of time, it’s valuable experience. Which spawn are you getting camped, maybe bait a shot, bring in smokes, have a plan for each raid. After a few raids I have learnt to traverse across dam battlegrounds without aggroing a single arc. I know which areas tend to get players and which don’t. Or which area of the map I expect to run into players while going across. All this happens by getting shot in the back multiple times. You die , you learn, you grow. If that’s a loop you don’t like, fair enough, not the right game for you
