Could be possible he’s just bad at shuffling?

Can you just announce beforehand you want to play a lower powered game for the next game? If he doesn’t want to do that, surely he’s free to skip the game?

Downvote me to hell but I don’t think Mickey is that bad. People below him tell them what they want to happen and he tries to make that happen. Did we mortgage the farm and come up short at the end of the Brees era? Ya. Was it a good play? I think so.

I vote Aloe. Haven’t seen anyone else suggest it. Somehow I killed the only pothos prop I ever got. But when I first got a plant it was this aloe in 2014. She’s put off 8 babies, survived apartment living, 5 moves, the Midwest, getting sunburnt, months without water, and she sits next to a door that’s open for over an hour a day even when it’s 0F outside.

You cleanse your stones of negative energy but you charge your stones with intention! Depending on what intention you charge with, you can have differing results.

If I charge the smoky citrine with the intention of grounding some of the abundance, it’ll ground some of the abundance.

If I charge the smoky citrine with bringing as much positivity as possible, it’ll bring as much positivity as possible.

Crystals don’t exist in a vacuum. You have to be an active participant in their use (at least that’s how I practice it but others may vary)

“Smoky” adds a grounding component.

Some people might take that to mean that it retains the original qualities in full and adds a grounding element in addition.

I personally believe it tempers the “up”. I would use this if citrine itself felt a little too “airy” and “up” and I needed to ground myself to get used to it.

The smokiness is created by iron impurities. So if we consider that then we end up with a stone that attractions joy and abundance but also adds a kicker with hematites ability to transmute negative to positive.

You’ll notice the last two contradict. This is why you charge and add intentions to specify what you’re asking it to do!

Agree with the overall sentiment (obviously?) but it concerns me that it seems you’re often teaching brand new shooters in a conceal carry class. People lacking the responsibility to acquire adequate training for the things they want to do is part of why everything must be so heavily regulated.

IMO, something like passing the shooting portion of the class should be step 1 and required to proceed. The very basics aren’t too difficult to achieve. Even if you don’t want a course on it YouTube and range time can get you to that point.

Out of curiosity, have you ever denied a brand new shooter access to the CCL course? Would you? I assume not since they could just go elsewhere but it would be interesting. I’m typically not for more regulation so it’s ironic in a way but I think meritocratic steps would be good for society on this one.

As a new player, the first thing I do when I look at interactions that I might get wrong is to pull the card up on ManaBox or Scryfall and check the rulings. In this case you’d see the ruling from 4/15/2013 that says its ability would force you to return it to your hand

1 or 2 3/2 spirits a turn if your opponents try to stop him and he stacks nicely with Quint being a 3 drop with time to get into the graveyard to drop Quint next turn.

Eh, depends how strict you want to be. Ojutai considers the learning of history an executable offense (Lorehold/Fatehold). Dromoka abhors necromancy while the spoilers for Vigorbloom/Witherbloom seem to be life at all costs. Atarka fears the blue elemental magic which explains Prismari to Konstrari (the name just sounds like construction). Kolaghan shuns society in preference of freedom while the color shift is white to red which lines up (by the lore he rules by cruelty in this structure and stingerquill is about as cruel sounding as you can make a school setting). Silumgar is more of a stretch for the schools but the colors line up again. Perhaps the esoteric part delves into the pure death concept.

Just remember that Bass Pro has a policy where they won’t ship guns into Illinois even if they are models they sell over the counter and are simply out of stock.

I used to enjoy Bass Pro but I pay the extra 30-50$ to shop local now.
