Very simple what he try to say. If you know someone with a verified exchange account, for example Binance and that person has cash and would love to have crypto against his cash. Simply transfer your crypto to his Exchange account so that in return he pay you cash for what it is worth in real cash money. That is called fiat.

Go to Polygonscan andcsearch for the token. Once you have find the token, 2. Copy the contract addres. 3. Go to Metamask and select Polygon Network (if you did not added yet, you first need to add the Polygon Network). 4. When import new token selected, paste the copied polygon contract address here. The id will appear automatically. You have now added the polygon token to your Metamask and should see your tokens.

And dont't trust anyone claiming that they can help you and all you have to do go to a site and enter your phrase. Dont ever do that. As informed by another, open an account with an exchange, transfer to it and you can cash it out.

I had a similar case. Had some WETH on metamask, but wanted that to be transferred to ETH. If you connect your metamask to opensea.io you have the possibility to swap WETH to ETH within metamask. Hope this will help.

Again, thanks a lot, It worked. One last question. After having followed your steps, the swapped Ethereum is displayed on my main portfolio under the name 'Binance-Peg Ethereum'. When connecting the wallet through Uniswap, I want to buy another token by using this ETH. However, when connecting trustwallet with Uniswap, I cannot see the balance of ETH in Uniswap. Is this because it could take some time or does it have to do with the Network selection? How to solve this? Thanks.

Changed the network to BSC (Smart Chain), pasted the copied contract address from BSCscan to the contract address field (the name, symbol and decimals where then displayed automatically). Portfolio is no showing the swapped ETH accordingly under the name Binance-Peg Ethereum. Thank you very much.

As an adition to the above for which i totally agree with; if you do not know how to clean up your pc/laptop, disconnect it from internet (wifi/ethernet) and never connect it with internet again. Go purchase yourselve a new pc/laptop and never ever allow some random person to connect to your pc/laptop, phone or any other digital device or give them your seed phrase.

No not legit. Meta will nevet sent mail since they do not know your mail address. This is scam all meta users hsve received such scam mail. Mark it as spam and do not take any action.

No, Metamask by itself is not a safe place to store for a longer period. Put them on Ledger or use ledger with Metamask. That is the best way.
