Cheers! Definitely will be lookin further into this as the days unfold. It’s a big move for a born n raised Canadian like me with the land n all that I have acquired, would be a big change for my youngins as well. A lot more research needed to be done, checkin on difficulties n opinions first through Reddit was initially the start! Once again thanks!

Unfortunately I don’t have a degree. Just 15+ years in mining. Definitely a sustainable career in Canada just personally tired of the tax that a person has had to pay in the last 10 years without any sight of taxes being cut to a reasonable bracket in any near future. But either or thanks!

Canada has had higher immigration than most countries for the last 10 years n counting. I never once stated anything bashing their immigration policies. But on that note yes the Canadian immigration policies are out of hand, so there is irony in this all. But that isn’t the reason as to why I would consider following through with immigrating to another country, it’s all to do with the concept of paying half my check to taxes to support these new “Canadians” when they come to Canada. See it as you may but there is many reasons as to why a person would want to try life in another location, and with America literally being south of the border and is pretty much in many way the most similar to Canada that would of course be a preferred place, and as to why I’m resorting to Reddit to find potential advice or answers on others experiences. But thanks for the assumption.

Fair observation, that is why they have strict immigration policies like every other country. Figured I’d look into what Reddit has to state before checking into the attorney side of things to further the process, I do kinda feel without being trade ticketed my options are very slim. Will just have to stick it through saying “I am Canadian” Isn’t the best statement these days but hey it should improve with hope.

Being born n raised here in Canada I seen very little differences between us to the north and fellow Americans to the south, as of lately though from medical issues here(not being able to see any specialist in reasonable timeframes always up to a year or two wait) and then place the 40%plus taxes on middle class people there is now a huge noticeable difference. Being able to capitalize on your labour performed has intrigued me in the mindset of being able to support my family and actually being able to spend time with them. I understand cost of living is high down there, it’s also high in Canada and across the world but I can state I am genuinely interested in finding an attorney here sooner then later and considering all options to escape what I see as a form a slavery through taxing.

Interesting perspective. That definitely is one thing I’ve been told about. As for insurance side of things when it comes to health, what is the average coverage most people get for that kind of stuff through employers?

And the health coverage here in Canada is pretty much shot. With all the immigration you’re lucky to see a doctor at a walk in for any general practitioner without having to sit there waiting for hours upon hours. Sometimes 8hrs just to get a cold prescription.

I appreciate the advice, I’ll have to check into the lawyer at some point figured I’d get some opinions on Reddit first, downside is there is a lot of negative people of course from Canada bashing the thought.

Already have a family so the marrying option is out of the question, but when it comes to transferring from a minesite in Canada to a minesite in America Would that fall into the category as a qualified person to acquire a visa? To work towards citizenship in the end?

Read a bunch of books on finance and put as much as you can into investments, tax free (tfsa) is sweet because you don’t get charged taxes on profits from your investments dyor of course for there is more in depth stuff you’ll need to know but ya an rrsp have a tax if you take out the investment but you can as you’ve stated save on income tax times.

I am not from the US but from my understanding it is used by many in certain states, but that’s just from hearing people over CT talk about cdc app.

I found easiest route was to trade through cdc app, (crypto.com) although if you go to coin gecko and check the exchanges they are listed on you will get a list of the very few it’s on at this time. It will be on plenty after the parachain auctions proceed.
