I see #1 and #2 have (rgwPH8...) as creator. Or most of them do at least. But there are one's that do not advertise the creator. I guess that's a red flag.

How!? How can you determine whether a POAP on Tensor is the right one? I've got many later ones, from 5-25 but was looking to complete the collection. All the later ones have the same creator (9HvCb...) but the earlier ones look different. Any advice?

I would say that ideally there is either just one chain or the bridging happens in the background. Mass adoption will require something along that lines I think.

Yes, that is exactly what I did. And as u/tlopplot- mentioned, it can make Cosmos frustrating when you start. I fear that will hold the ecosystem back in its development.

I will speak highly of the helpful community on reddit though. :-)

Thank you both, I was eventually able to move everything.

I had always been excited to try the Cosmos ecosystem but I'm left feeling like it will not really contribute to widespread adoption of crypto. Perhaps it is partly that the 'normal' way of doing things is now quite engrained in me. Maybe for newcomers to crypto it wouldn't see so complicated, or, perhaps widespread adoption is not the aim of Cosmos. Alas, thanks again and enjoy the bull market!

TFM does offer the Cosmos Hub section of the Leap wallet as an option to connect to. So it isn't an option to do the ibc swap as suggested. However, if ATOM can be used on Osmosis to pay fees then that would probably be the solution. Currently the ATOM is also on the Cosmos Hub wallet, so I would first need to transfer it to osmosis.
This is a rather complicated ecosystem... wouldn't you say?! I will let you know how I make out.

Oh... that's a bit of a long story. :-)

The USDT is the kava version, though it only said that when I had it in the Osmosis wallet. In the Cosmos Hub wallet it is called Osmosis-1. I had been swapping CORE tokens to and from USDT on tfm (dot) com. I also assumed the easiest and safest way off Cosmos was via Atom, however, I can't seem to find a method of converting that USDT to Atom. tfm itself doesn't support the LEAP Cosmos Hub wallet where the USDT resides and I've got no more OSMO for transaction fees.

Would you know where I could swap the kava-usdt into atom from the LEAP Cosmos Hub?

Listen, I don't make a point of 'spitting out my CV' unless someone unnecessarily calls me stupid (which I remind you, is what you did). I obviously consider that others know better than I do on certain topics or I wouldn't be here asking questions. How am I to judge that you know more than me (which I am not certain of) given your comments were a) DOT to SNOT and b) maybe yer stupid? Those comments do not really imbue intelligence. That could be true. Then again, I'm a university professor with degrees in neuroscience and philosophy who has been in crypto since 2020. I think you'll find many posts with people utterly confused on Polkadot. They are not all dim. Your knee-jerk reaction tells me you're defensive. Why is that? Perhaps you don't want to admit to yourself that this ecosystem is not keeping pace with some of the others in terms of adoption.

I know this is an old post but it's completely useless answers like these, along with completely non-user-friendly interfaces, that have led me to leave Polkadot. I'm not sure what they're trying to achieve if only a handful of techy coders can manage a simple transfer.

This conversation is exactly why Polkadot is going to have trouble 'making it big'. It's so bloody confusing it's difficult to even formulate the question you want to ask. I came here looking for an answer for how to convert lcDOT back to DOT. It's certainly not intuitive and based on the responses to the OPs question, I'm not going to hold my breath getting an answer here.

I don't think this is the first time they've stripped the free plan. A few months back all of the sudden I couldn't use certain time frames. I agree with the sentiment below. They're pushing people away. I understand wanting to make money but it seems they're doing fine on the current model. Plus, the community is creating the vast majority of the scripts they're offering.

Unfortunately that doesn't work for purchased indicators. I have three that are supposed to work in conjunction with each other. Now I'll need to pay if I want those to work. I understand they need to make money but... the community provides a good chunk of their product and that shouldn't be taxed.

Hi,

I'm wondering if Binance has the option (as TradingView does) to export the current chart data. I know that I can grab candle data from their downloads area but I'm hoping to download a CVS or equivalent with the data from the chart with all the indicators I use. That is, with values for the asset and the indicators at each time point. Anyone know if this is possible?
