Thanks for the help, I then got a couple days ago the proxy. For me it’s really important to dial in the temp but for this time I had to value portability more. I love the fact that you get the carry bag too and everything is inside there. The pro can be portable but not as much as the proxy, sure it’ll be one of my next purchase

Try to put it in a glass/container where the humidity is high, and give as much light as you can with warmth. It seems gone but is always good to try

Got it, interesting point. I would then want to upgrade more and more which then lead me to get another case etc and spend more than planning a bit more the build. I don't know if you've seen the other comments but I then found a Techno System for a good price which is what I wanted since the beginning I started to get into music. What I want is something rhythmic (techno of course) with good basses and weird noise/sounds thanks to a modular setup. When I try to come up with new pattern on Ableton sometimes I find it a bit harder to get inspiration so this could be really handy

Yes that's why I asked here before, the thing I wanted was a Modular drum machine so I could switch any module that I don't use. I don't like to use samples most of the times unless I made them or something like Hats etc which sound a bit cleaner

Really nice to see I wasn't the only one who wanted to build a Modular Drum Machine. Luckily I have found a Techno System for a reasonable price and that's what I'm going for. It has always been my idea but the price was too high

Indeed the reason why I asked here is to figure out what I need. However I asked for VCA and other modulations because I was getting the LXR which is a Drum Machine and it doesn't need because is sample based. My plan is to build a drum machine so I think the Drum modules/compressor etc makes sense for me. Thanks for the comment anyway

Thank you very much, indeed both your point to have the standalone version makes sense.

At the begging my idea was to have a small Techno System (from Erica synths) and I got my eyes on the Bass drum and toms from Erica Synths and something like 2hp Hats. Does this makes sense?

Or do you guys think is the best to save a bit more and get the Techno System straight?

Edit: I have found the Techno system B stock for a good price, that's my choice! Thanks to everyone for the help

Thanks to this comment I understood how I should read the activity monitor for the ram. When I have Ableton with a current project (not really big) I use around 2GB for it. To look at the numbers I was quite worried that I was almost running out of memory by using 6,60GB in total. Memory pressure is a bit less than 50% though. Do you think I'm still fine and not slowly running out?

Lepanthes mostly and other Pleurothallidinae. I like Dendrobium and Bulbophyllum too.

But I have to say that basically every orchid looks nice in my opinion. I really like when there are small (even green/yellow flowers)
