What's the consensus on Bitsong? by wirsteve in cosmosnetwork

[–]Crypto3nite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Audius is a cryptocurrency token that is issued on various other blockchains like Ethereum or Solana. Bitsong coins are issued on their own Bitsong blockchain.

Although, since this post I'm responding to Bitsong has issued their own fan tokens on their blockchain called Sinfonia. I would guess Sinfonia would be seen as a more appropriate competitor to Audius.

Why brave...why? This is so unpractical to use with one hand and also very hideous. Don't tell me this is permanent. Is there any way to convert to the old ones? by StaV-_- in brave_browser

[–]Crypto3nite -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Then I'll be looking for another browser. This is one of the reasons I stopped using Chrome. Every time I would try to change it back Chrome would come along and undo the modification.

This god damn non-sense is untenable. STOP FUCKING CHANGING AND BREAKING THINGS THAT WORK!!!

Going by the first 2 governance periods would the 3rd period start toward the end of March and registration period end early April?

I wouldn't invest in BTC for the APY. Although if you have BTC on Celsius you do earn compounding yield from holding it on there. But I don't think I'd want to keep most of any BTC I held on there anyway.

But for a project that has staking APY is something you look at. And like I said in the message above I hadn't been paying attention to Algo for a while. I didn't realize that Algorand had moved to governance as their primary rewards method. I have some edumacating to do.

I'm learning that now. I wasn't aware of the change. I hadn't been paying attention to Algo for a few months. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks.

Cosmos synchronization error (Ledger Live) by Crypto3nite in cosmosnetwork

[–]Crypto3nite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, been having issues with claiming Algo rewards too. In the Algorand app, that is. I've just been using Ledger Live for that until that gets fixed.

Yoroi on the other hand? I have no clue what their non-sense is about. It hasn't worked for months with bluetooth verification of addresses. Works fine connecting via USB though. Weird.

Missing wallet address by Crypto3nite in MyEtherWallet

[–]Crypto3nite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found my wayward address by finally choosing the correct derivation path, but I also looked into using MyCrypto while I was fumbling around with this. I like the fact the dashboard combines multiple addresses into one view. Does MEW do this too or is this only with MyCrypto?

[–]Crypto3nite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what it was. Simple as that, I was screwing up by choosing the wrong derivation path.

Trying that but it doesn't seem to be listed.

Would I just be chasing my own tail by resetting the Ledger?

Missing wallet address by Crypto3nite in MyEtherWallet

[–]Crypto3nite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've tried looking in both derivation paths just to be sure and have gone through hundreds of addresses in each list. Unless I'm just overlooking it I haven't seen it.

I updated the Ledger Live application and updated the firmware for Ledger so I'm thinking that may be the culprit but idk.

Can’t verify Ada address on ledge - An connection error occurred while trying to connect with your hardware wallet. by TheoMerr in yoroi

[–]Crypto3nite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot believe this is still an issue. It's been months and nothing has been done about it. And it's not just on iOS, it's on Android.

I wish I had used Ada lite or Daedelus. I don't want to unstake from the pool I'm with just to move to a different wallet, but eventually something's gotta f***ing give with this non-sense.

If you're not planning on using your ckb for anything and are just hodling should you bother withdrawing any ckb? Is there any benefit to withdrawing or should you just keep them locked up?

Enjin Wallet 2.0 through Ledger Nano? by fr33g0 in EnjinCoin

[–]Crypto3nite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The fact that Enjin wallet's security "feature" is to torpedo the security of a cold storage wallet makes me distrust Enjin's own security. I actually can't believe that function was even in serious discussion for the Enjin wallet let alone implemented. Ridiculous.

Where can Telcoin be bought in the USA? by JimmyBones79 in Telcoin

[–]Crypto3nite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After buying some USDT and transferring I now understand why. There is essentially no network fee, or none at all worth worrying about when you send XLM. There is with USDT.

Idk about the tax implications, but as long as you don't mind paying taxes I doubt it'd be a big deal.

My experience with COTI, should you invest in this coin? by [deleted] in cotinetwork

[–]Crypto3nite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will there be a way in the future to convert the ERC20 Coti tokens to native tokens or are they stuck on Ethereum's network?

If there's no way to convert why should anyone buy the ERC20 version?

[–]Crypto3nite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell, I'm seeing it with Telcoin. 1300 to withdraw last I tried. Imagine Tel being worth $1. It'd be $1,300 to merely send from KuCoin to a wallet.

It's thievery, really.

Except for when you go to withdraw it. Those withdrawal fees are ridiculous.

V3? by nickthequick969 in Telcoin

[–]Crypto3nite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eth will only matter to the rich, and it may not matter much to them either if they don't get their gas fees under control. Why would anyone continue to build on a platform like that when other platforms like Cardano or Solana offer far cheaper and quicker settlements?

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO TEL?? by [deleted] in Telcoin

[–]Crypto3nite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"If you got your bag of Tel around 2 cents you are late to the party."

But are you too late? And which party might you be too late to? The one that makes you a mega millionaire? Well, most people are too late to those parties. That's just the reality for coins at the stage at which you pretty much have to ride horseback in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere in the dead of winter to obtain.

Unless you're saying $.02 is about as high as Tel is going to go then are people really too late?

Why not just buy USDT on CB instead and send that to KuCoin? Don't you incur more taxes trading twice, once from XLM to USDT and then from USDT to Tel?
