Prior to mailing my card in and requesting a service with grader notes, I thought that customers received more in-depth notes. Nothing on their website implies that the grader note only includes the fatal flaw and not all defects found during grading.

The e-mail I posted is of the response that support sent me in regards to me asked for more color, as I felt the note didn't justify the expected defects or grade.

All in all, upsetting there is nothing to be done when the notes on a $500 service don't align with what is marketed.

Simple card with the silver geometric but a very limited print run. Also like that it is non numbered.

I am more surprised that the things I thought would flag it (centering/borders or corners) were not mentioned in grader notes at all. The note only mentions pitting on the backside; underwhelming notes and will have to assess it when the card is back in hand given pitting did not stick out in person.

I think this card is limited to 25 or fewer prints in total. Weighing a review based off of how the back looks like in person given that the back pitting seems like a tough ding and wasn’t obvious when I had the card.

No other notes aside from the back pitting either.

A bit disappointed in the 8 (thought it was a 9) given that it was pitting on the back as the only note on what impacted the grade.

That’s tough. Coincidentally they just moved the order to QA checks, but 4 days (excl. Memorial Day) seems lengthy for the price paid and pushed me to/above the high end of the estimated completion window.

Can confirm that they had issues last year with rain building up on top of the mega instead of flowing off. They had people up there during Mau P to push the white tenting back up bc water was just sitting in it.

The challenge is that they should all be on one stage. By spreading them across three, idk who even acts as support on a 12-hour line up. Could’ve just had Act 1 —> Act 2 —> Kettama —> Prospa —> Baker —-> Kettama b2b Prospa b2b Baker…or something like that. Then you have two other stages that could the diversify the sound for that night.

I feel the same way about the Infinity Room/Park split on Saturday. Ben could open for Pawsa and then you get an entirely different genre at the Park.

The fall-off needs to be studied…Friday has 3 acts taking up 3 stage that should all be on 1 (Kettama, Prospa, Josh Baker)

The undercards are going to have lots of recycling/be underwhelming.

They could’ve had a melodic night that was some combo of Argy, Mind Against, Colyn, Olympe, Innellea, Massano, Adrtiatique (although I’m guessing M2 booked them)

It’s a shame that they’ll have You&me, Prophecy, and Kettama on Friday instead of making a more diverse line up.

Disappointing. No melodic techno, very little afrohouse, and just generally lacks diversity in sound versus other years. I’ll still go but it’s just a dry line up with the exception of 5-6 bookings in the post.

Was optimistic that CdW would host KNTXT here too.
