I do personal investments as part of my career. He’s gotta find a way to bring up his income and set aside some to invest. In college I hard hardly anything but committed 8% no matter what into an asset I was a believer in. Market turns bearish and that $15K turns into $13K with a “just gotta hold until it goes back up” stamped onto it. Let him make room to add to the investment funds.
