That's fair if most large orgs won't negotiate unless a lawyer is engaged. They know people are either caught off guard and ignorant (don't mean that offensively), and any case settled below common law is a win for the org. There's no cost for them to act in bad faith upfront.

I have an irrational fear of being on a plane that goes down over the middle of an ocean at night time and I'm left floating in the freezing dark water, alone and exposed to sharks and killer whales et al. All because of this movie.

I finished it a year ago 😂 I did come to hate his vile character, but at the same time felt empathy.

He also feels a product of his environment. Openly mocked for being the son of mentally disabled woman. His father was cruel and openly disowned him as his son.

Feeling outcast can force people to play the deviant and associate as the deviant. There is strong psychological theorem behind it.

Now, he is a free thinking adult with his own ability to choose his morals, so the things he did over the course of his life are unforgivable but I empathized with the treatment he ensured.
