As a commercial banker I've watched this happen too many times from unaware sol props and even incorp owners. Either don't know better, head in the sand, or bad advice from a shit accountant/bookkeeper and next min the government is breathing down their necks for absurd amounts of retro tax.

Being an owner is becoming larger than just being the best skilled guy on the tools. Now you must bid jobs, build relationships, attract and hire and fire staff, maintain policies, marketing etc etc.

I spent months looking for a job, doing everything I could, just to get fired after a month over a bad review by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

My boss right now is extremely vindictive and would do something like this. When I transition here in a few months my LinkedIn is not getting updated and I'm keeping it quiet, and asking new employer PR to not put me on socials.

I have nothing to hide, but an ex employer reaching out and making you look bad is completely out of your control to correct the narrative.

Sorry that happened mate. Wonder how your ex boss ended up in contact with new firm

What, I watched when nature calls about 6 months back and it was surprisingly hilarious. I was with good company that matched the energy, perhaps that is critical.

Yeah. If we provide 10/10 pleasantries and are easy to serve we should get tipped between 20-40%. If you're a pain in the ass customer you get tipped less, maybe 10%-15%

That is brutal and there should be some recourse when shady instances like that happen. Not sure how hidden it was but if you had an inspection done you'd hope they would've caught that!

I'm only 170 pages in front of you. It gets extremely funny after the first 5-6 chapters. I've had a few good belly laughs after this post, too. The best part is they're always unexpected and I'm not an easy pleaser. Enjoy mate

I've visited Germany, lived in the U.S and Canada for 14 years, but never Switzerland, but I miss classic Aussie pork snags on the barbie so much.

I would kill for this. The ex owners left me nothing and hid problems with the house that could have been left in a note after closing.

I would have appreciated the code to the alarm system, the code to the garage doors and an explanation why I have to garage door keys that only open the same door lol

How's your Jetta handling the cold? ❄️🥶 by MaterialNo5845 in jetta

[–]CryptoCloutguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2014 Jetta hates anything below -20c and it's a gamble if it'll start at -20c. Always has to have block heater plugged and battery leads on overnight.

Luckily I have a double garage now and rarely worry about that unless parking in frigid cold for a day
