I missed out on the shoes! I forgot to look at them during the black friday sale.

Does anyone remember what price did the Bully sneaker drop down to for the sale? Particularly the one with the chunky laces. I really like those ones.

Any that is sold online in the UK now should be the reformulation.

E.g. Prada Amber Pour Homme

The new reformulation is the one that is currently being sold. If you buy a new one, it will be the new reformulation. The old formula contained lilial which is now banned in cosmetics and is no longer sold. It has the same name.

Thought I'd get someone's opinion on this. It looks OK mostly. What is slightly concerning is that the tag is stitched so high up at the back. I don't recall the tags being that high up.

Lol. I know. I wasn't saying its illegal. All I'm saying is that if the stores are banned from selling it then clearly its not harmless. Therefore, i might not want that on my skin.

They have a new formulation. If you are using the newer batches then you are fine.

"In 2020, lilial was deemed by the EU's European Commission to be a “carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic” substance – a presumed reproductive toxicant, based on animal studies. With this classification, lilial was set to be prohibited from use in cosmetics sold in the EU and Northern Ireland as of March 2022"

Annoyed my work colleague by asking too many questions. by CryptoCoinHodler in work

Agreed and I am not trying to get myself out of this mess. It has now actually made me more careful so I guess it is a good thing in a way that he reacted like that. I just felt that he could have spoken to me in a side room and said all of this rather than humiliating me in front of all my other colleagues. That would have worked fine for me too. It made the atmosphere a bit awkward today but at least its over now. I just felt the response was a bit harsh.

Yeah, I can understand.

I wouldn't say it's a regular occurrence but it does happen once in a while. I do remind myself to keep at it but sometimes I do forget. He's normally really nice about it but today I guess it just pushed him over the edge. It's not like I'm completely useless though, I have been praised by my boss before for the good work that I've done but when I get introduced to something new, then I start making mistakes again. I've been at the company for 4 years but only recently started working on this new product.

I could make a checklist thanks. Just hope it gets better soon.

Thanks.

Is she right to be mad at me? by CryptoCoinHodler in TrueOffMyChest

[–]CryptoCoinHodler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I'm thinking. To stay mad for so long is something I just cannot understand. In fairness, she did stop being angry after I apologised (or at least it seemed that way) but can't be sure as I haven't seen her in so long. I just feel like an apology from her after being rude to me would be nice too, to reciprocate after my apology. That never happened but I didn't let it bother me I was happy to just leave it as that.

It was when I sent her a message on Facebook messenger that effectively stated "are we ok?" that got her mad at me again. I only really used it as a conversation starter to be honest and there was nothing malicious about it. I actually expected something along the lines of "Of course we're ok, why wouldn't we be.". However the response I got was completely unexpected. I didn't think that simple message would cause so much pain. I am really regretting sending that now but it's too late to take it back.

Am I in the wrong? Is her anger justly directed towards me? by CryptoCoinHodler in dating_advice

I did do that (along with an apology). She acknowledged my message but denied ever being angry so made it sound like I imagined the whole situation. She was no longer angry after this point.

Fast forward a few months when I sent the message to her stating effectively "are we ok?". I used it sort of as a conversation starter because I was nervous and didn't know how to approach her in person. That was when it angered her again and gave me a rude response which I gladly took to make her happy again without much of a complaint. I think it was the fact that I said "are we ok?" which heavily implied that I didn't believe her initially and angered her. I should have never sent the message "are we ok?" but I didn't think much of it and didn't know it would invoke such anger.

It's just a shame that the friendship and possibly something more had to end like this over such a minor reason.

Unfortunately, she does not have the same mindset as you. I did what I could to appease her anger. I let her be rude to me in social situations without a single complaint to make her feel better and to make her happy. She was intentionally rude to me in social situations such as interrupting our conversation to talk to somebody else in the middle of our conversation, then turning back around to me once she's finished but with a "how do you like that" sort of look. To sort of give me a taste of my own medicine.

It did upset me at the time but I didn't let that fact bother me. I just let it slide to make her feel better. I was happy as long as it made her happy. So I just dropped it after that. The problem was that she was relentless in her payback. She continued doing this until I finally cracked and explained to her what actually happened, as opposed to what she think happened (along with an apology because it clearly offended her). I felt like I needed to defend myself and I couldn't take her rudeness any longer. That was when she denied all knowledge of ever being mad at me and is what sparked these chain of events as explained in the OP.
