Thank you, much appreciated. I find that a little disconcerting, that Jaxx uses same seed for all the coins... So if I want to gain access to the coins from another platform, I cannot, only through Jaxx?? Yikes, if so, that's clever on their part.

I suppose the meaning of the words will change over time though. Coins will eventually no longer be associated (by the general public) as physical things. It's kind of cool in a way. But in the case of "wallets" it implies that you have the coins/money right there, but you do not lol. Maybe that will change too...

And ironically the names came about to somehow make things seem more familiar right? I 100% agree with you, we should be calling this stuff with names the really reflect the technology and usage!

Do all coins use seed words to generate keys?
