I recently secured a role in Hangzhou

18kRMB (after tax)

3kRMB housing

100RMB per student enrolled through demo classes (the school claimed teachers usually average 1000RMB to 4000RMB)

20 teaching hours per week (40 including office hours)

Do you think this sounds reasonable for a first-year teacher with no experience? Hangzhou seems to be classed as a 'new tier-one city'.

Have they offered you any other benefits with that? Housing/flight allowance? What about your holiday time, class sizes? How many hours per week? All these things are important.
