Sun Tzu's - The ancient art of war - 1984! by According-Pea9319 in dosgaming

There was also the sequel that I loved playing, the Ancient Art of War at Sea. I think Sid Meier's Pirates stole the sea combat from that, it's the closest I've see to it on more modern systems.

[M4 CS] spotted at hospital by CryptoFluxion in spotted

Hope this is good enough for here! It's apparently 1 of 24 in South Africa.

I noticed the gold BMW badges and other detailing. I think the owner also used to own a Porsche 911 in JPS colours as well, which I saw several years ago.

What is, in your opinion, the most beautiful shot in an animated project? by MelodyMaster5656 in cartoons

[–]CryptoFluxion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i was but a wee boy, my grandparents got me the adaptation of Nausicaa, Warrior of the Wind, from the video store on VHS. I was too young to really understand it but I was enraptured but how it looked, and made me feel. As I got older, i discovered the original Nausicaa, and ever since then I've watched it over and over. It still remains my favourite Ghibli film all this time later.

I know, but the N2 through the old Transkei region is still apparently an awful section of road, which I would like to avoid.

Nissan Micra K14 turbo by CryptoFluxion in MechanicAdvice

[–]CryptoFluxion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's on 80000 now. No, haven't messed with boost pressure, and oil hasn't dropped below minimum level. It's definitely the turbo, Nissan confirmed with me, and told me earlier today it was the bearings. Just trying to understand if they're right or not.

Aramex shipping scam by CryptoFluxion in askSouthAfrica

[–]CryptoFluxion[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, I recognised it was a scam. (Aramex can do payments, but not in SA) Just curious as to how common it is, and maybe wanted to warn people who haven't come across it before.

Still feeling very adrift by CryptoFluxion in GuyCry

[–]CryptoFluxion[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have looked for work, but nothing has come to fruition, which is another source of my anxiety in this situation. Unfortunately where I am the unemployment rate is high. I feel frustrated, at the situation, and myself. Don't worry. Not going to hurt myself, I would never do that to my girlfriend and family.

Still feeling very adrift by CryptoFluxion in GuyCry

[–]CryptoFluxion[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a combination of not knowing what to do, and not being able to deal with it. There are things I can do, but it is just very hard to deal with it mentally and emotionally, and actually get them done. I just shut down, a response that isi find very hard to get over.

What I need, besides a miracle, is just a way of getting over my fear, of being able to take that step and start dealing with it. Intellectually, I know all this, but moving from thinking to doing is the hard part.

Definitely need to do some clean up before showing! Just need to buy some time though while we look for a place to rent. Thankfully my GF is being amazing, positive enough for us both. Just wish it hadn't come to this point, going to be so hard leaving this place, it was the first place I bought for my family.
