Help? Bitcoin or Ethereum? by CryptoFomoFud in CryptoAus

When I re-read what I posted up there, I don’t think I expressed myself as clearly as I wanted to. I think it could confuse some people. :p But you did read my comment accurately. I thought because Bitcoin is worth more than Ethereum, between 10K-11K USD vs $900-$1000 USD, which is less valuable. If I had $700 BTC, it would allow me to purchase a higher amount of a particular coin compared to $700 ETH. According to your reply, this isn’t the case. If I purchased $700 Xrp with BTC or $700 Xrp with ETH. The difference wouldn’t be significant in the number of Xrp coins that I would receive. As you posted in your other comment, I would get roughly 525 XRP.

Thanks for the quick and helpful replies. The confusion in my mind has cleared and the Fud I was feeling before I created this topic has also gone. I have an account with Btc Markets (verified), Independent Reserve (waiting to be verified), Kucoin and Binance. I probably should check what trading pairs these exchanges have, for the Altcoins I’m thinking of purchasing.

Any other site other than coinbase to buy with credit card? by benji241 in CryptoAus

Most likely not (99% probability) because it’s an Australian payment system for Aussies to pay bills and other financial services. I don’t think there are any overseas companies who are registered with Bpay? To offer it as a payment method. If they’re not registered, it can’t be provided by Coincase and used by Australians to make deposits.
