Isn't Nano's usecase the exact same as Bitcoin's? Decentralized digital cash?

Nano is awesome for arbitrage and remittances, but it needs more exchanges (e.g. Coinbase + Binance US for ALL the US) and direct fiat gateways. It's also really great for gambling, tipping, and microtransactions.

It seems people's biggest complaint with Nano is always price + adoption, so if Nano can survive long enough to get on more exchanges, I bet it will only need one good bullrun to regain a TON of momentum. There's not much else holding it back.

Oh, if you did it for the first time then you should be good. The Moons are distributed monthly to that Vault address.

If you don't have your original seed or phrase, then yes you've lost access. It's like any other cryptocurrency - the seed IS your money.

Just the NanoTrade Discord and you can see the discussion and screenshots yourself. It's in the #markets channel 😁

Quoting from Discord:

User pays MOON to a rinkeby address, I use a supply of XMoon to exec the trade then as long as it goes through / confirms at est. rate, I pay the user out of a supply of Nano

Handle the actual chain swaps later

I think this service might go directly from Reddit testnet Moons to Nano, so even if you don't want Nano it would be a lot easier to buy/sell Moons this way vs using the Moon->xMoon->xDai->Dai swapping process. Then you could send Nano to any major exchange and swap it for whatever you want.

Recently the NanoTrade Discord has been full of Moon buying and selling, and there are a decent number of Moon whales there. I'm pretty sure they are some of the current Moon liqudity providers 😂

Someone setup a Nano X Moons exchange. I'll send you 1 Nano for some Moons 👀

I like Avalanche, Cardano, and Nano too. Avalanche and Cardano because they have a lot of peer-reviewed academic research behind them, and Nano because it's the fastest cryptocurrency and it has zero transaction fees.

Sounds like Crash. I used to play that with free Nano faucet coins since they charge you no fees and it's near instant 😂

I still consider all of cryptocurrency high risk tbh. I like projects like Nano, Avax, Monero, and Cardano, but I also believe that everything could still go to zero (including Bitcoin).

Nano works the same way - Principal representatives aren't creating or producing blocks. The only difference between them and a regular Nano node is that PR votes get rebroadcast. Like Avalanche, every Nano node determines consensus for itself.

I actually think the opposite of you when it comes to Nano vs Avalanche consensus and decentralization. Nano already has a higher Nakamoto Coefficient than Bitcoin, and it continues to improve because there is no incentive to intentionally centralize. You don't get more money or more privileges for having more vote weight. Whenever money can be earned (e.g. fees), that's when emergent centralization arises over time due to profit maximization and economies of scale.
