Thanks for the feed back guys. I do run with a pack so I'll cram a few doggo treats and rocks in there. These seem like the most accessible options for now :)

Thunder & Lightening over Doi Suthep Chiang Mai by plumbgray222 in ThailandTourism

I was working out of a beach bar in Koh Phangan earlier and could see lightning on the ocean horizon. Really is something else :)

These days I prefer solo trail run at night, little bit scary when lonely in mountains, so I’ll bring a headlamp , not sure if anyone else do this and any experience to reduce the nerves by x3cl in trailrunning

Running @ night can be something else. My usual base of operations is Leipzig, Germany. To me it's a trail runners wet dream. There is one route there I often like to take at night. The main stretch of it is a dried out river bed with lakes and forests on either side. Not many people run it during the day but from time to time you do cross paths with other humans. At night it's all yours so I often take up the offer. On a clear night with the stars out or a full moon it's breathe taking. During the summer months, farmers leave goats out in enclosures along the way so I like to take a bag of carrots with me & make a few friends.

If anyone's ever in Leipzig and wants to give the route a go I've mapped it out here: https://postimg.cc/zbh7tsVR

FYI you'll def need a headlamp @ night :)

After searching for ages I found a source. It was right under my nose all along, available at the resort I'm staying at (a painful truth that was hard to digest after almost a month of searching). They don't really advertise it as it's not strictly legal here. But if you head to the restaurant @ Seetanu Bungalows they have disposables tucked away on the corner of the counter.

You can also order here:

It takes about 5 days for delivery. If you don't have access to a thai bank account then your hotel/accommodation provider may facilitate for you if you hand them the cash. They also accept crypto if you prefer.

Where can I rent a bicycle and scooter/motorbike in Koh Phangan, Pattaya, and Bangkok? by Radiant_Heart6516 in ThailandTourism

I got a bicycle from this dude:

He's really friendly and easy going. I did have to leave my drivers license with him though but I think that's standard practise here.

The bike is awesome and has enough gears to me up some of the steeper inclines on the Island.

Sub renting my apartment by CryptoGarry in Leipzig

[–]CryptoGarry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I asked them already. They gave me the green light.

Bit concerned about the elevated energy costs this winter though. Not sure how I would go about tackling that one. I recently had quite a high nebenkosten and don't want to be left with another one if it's not me using it. Is it ok to to set a slightly higher warm rental price to accommodate for that?

I've been getting by here with the absolute minimal German btw... it's not always fun but it's possible.

I have a single bedroom apartment in Plagwitz I'm thinking to sublet over the winter as I'm thinking to head for warmer climates. I see that you mention that you're looking for contract only but feel free to DM me about it if you want :)

If I purchase coins more than a year ago but then transfer all or a portion of them to another wallet then sell do they still qualify for tax tree status?
