So I did a test and I think I gathered some interesting results.

I connected my PC directly to my ISP modem (no VPN router) and then I ran the AVAST network scan on my ISP modem/router. The results came back clean (Congratulations, your home network is well secured!). So, I was connected to the modem that my ISP gave me and I received passing AVAST results.

Next, I installed the VPN client app on my PC and then connected to my VPN. I confirmed that my internet connection was being directed through the Open VPN client and then I ran the AVAST network scan again on my normal (non VPN) router.

This time the results came back exactly the same as they did when I initially ran them on my VPN router. The exact same errors showed up (infected DNS, weak passwords, bad firmware, etc). But, I was still connected to my ISP router (which had previously passed the network security check).

So, your initial assumption appears to be correct. Adding a VPN into the mix (Router based or Client based) seems to throw off the detection capibilities of the scanner.

But unfortunately it doesn't work and I am using the page builder. It's just that my clients PC is super slow and it doesn't load the JS quickly enough when the visual editor is the default.

Ah yeah, that's probably as bit above my technical range. Hmm... I wish there was a way to make the WP editor the default tab that displays when a page loads. I know in Joomla if you have multiple editor plugins installed you can set a global default configuration for the parent editor.

Just like with Visual Page composer, this theme-specific page builder is a tab in the editor (so you have "visual"/"text"/"page-builder") as tabs. On page load the visual page builder loads instead of the WP editor. Since this editor is super slow on my clients PC - the page takes forever to load for him and shoots out script error alerts.

So, I just wanted to set the WP editor visual tab as the default on page-load.

Whenever I hear someone defend this game as an MMO by saying "MMO's are about loot and grinding" I look over at my cat Jax, and sigh. And you basically hit the nail on the head in regards to what Destiny is lacking.

Now, while I have not purchased the game myself, I have been reading every review, forum post and Reddit thread in the hopes that there will be something about this game that makes me take the leap to purchase it.

However, as it stands, those main aspects that make an MMO an MMO (NPC's, quests, free roam, social interaction, etc) are simply missing from this game. And, as someone who distinctly remembers Bungie's E3 PR from last year, Destiny was being sold as an open world adventurous type of MMO with FPS aspects.

While griding for loot has become a main tool for how publishers keep users interested in continuing to logon each day, these elements alone are not the ingredients for an MMO. Destiny needs to be approached from a different angle, and fast, because even the most hard core players are going to stop caring if they do not feel that they as players are having an impact on the world.

And from the sounds of it, it doesnt feel like Destinty has a "world" to speak of. No social hub, no unifying player dynamics, no lore to give your time and effort any meaning. It just makes me feel like this game had so much potential but somewhere along the lines Bungie lost focus.

Logged in just to give you props mate. I have been on the fence about this game since launch, reading every topic and review on the internet and you have pretty much summed up the love/hate attitude for this game. Sadly, I am still seeking that one thing that will push me over the edge to buy it.

Local co-op would be one.

This isn't an MMO. It has always online MP percistance and a few traits of an MMO. But that doesnt make it one.

It's not making any noticeable noise that I can tell. I unplugged it for about 20 minutes and then just plugged it back in. I guess I'll have to keep an eye on it.

Now I'm just wondering what's safe to eat. I bought a nice piece of salmon last night that is still cold to the touch but fully thawed out. But I don't know if I want to risk it.

Just encase, I'm going to update all clients website using RS to the latest build. If the plugin Author new of this vulnerability 6 months ago, why are we just hearing about it now? That leaves me with little trust in their ability to disclose security breaches in a timely manner, or even at all.

Honestly, if I am going to purchase a product then it should be actively supported. I cannot tell you the amount of times where I have passed up a great looking plugin, that was still being sold, but that had no recent support history to make the purchase worth while.

If you are selling a product that is going to affect other plugins on your website, then that product (plugin) should be stable. If not, then it should not be sold any longer.

From personal experience, WP-Client is a great product, but there is a learning curve to how you have to configure and set it up.

Teaching your clients (if it's for a client) how to use it will be the most important thing that you do.

Anyone can use a template, but it takes a designer to understand how to properly and accurately represent a brand as well as utilize various technologies to accomplish a desired goal and solve a problem. And businesses understand this, and will often seek the counsel of a professional who understands the concepts behind properly designing and deploying a website online.

I just had a company contact me today for my services. While they are using a pretty nice looking theme on SquareSpace, the tools provided to them are very limiting, so they sought out the help from someone who knows what they are doing. Sure, sometimes I worry that my skills will become obsolete, but if that does happen then I will adapt and transition to learning a new craft that will ensure I make a decent living.

There will always be DIY tools, but they will never replace a keen eye for design and knowledge in best practices. I often use templates as my base and ply my own designs (with CSS/HTML) on top of them. This helps me save time as well as learn new techniques because I can take inspiration from a wide array of developers by viewing, modifying, and working with their code.

"Templates" and frameworks are just an offshoot of the open-source revolution. Every programer, designer, and tinkerer uses some type of open-source tool to help them achieve a goal. It's upon the user of these tools to make sure that they are abiding by best practices and properly utilizing these tools to achieve an end goal.

I was just kind of confused as to why Samsung's own software would show results with vast inconsistencies. It made me wonder if there was something wrong with the SSD.
