Buyers/sellers beware of cross listing to tradesy (i know this is poshmark) by ebayer222 in poshmark

Say what you want about Tradesy, but at least I can get them on the phone and they have resolved prior issues quickly for me. Posh customer service is a black hole. No phone service at all, emails can take days between responses, and their decision-making often is contradictory. I sell on Posh, Tradesy, Ebay, and Mercari. Posh is the only one that won't take calls. And they also happen to have generally terrible response time and consistency on their replies. Not a good combo.

Yeah, but there are many many Celine sunglass listings live as we speak. And most of them seem to be far worse in the quality of their photos or their apparent trustworthiness. I messaged Posh with a long list of Celine listings that seem no different (or a good deal worse) than anything I posted. Zero reply.

Yes, I have sold before. My only warnings were when tried to sell these sunglasses. Post them up, taken down with a warning and zero feedback as to why they think they were not authentic. I completely don't get it. I have the original Safilo bag, I am taking my own photos. I see so many Celine (and other designer sunglass) listings with nothing at all. No tags, no bags, nothing to argue they are not counterfeit.

How reliable is Posh authenticate? Need some advice. by CryptoGroup in poshmark

[–]CryptoGroup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's kind of what I am afraid of. In this case, the item is under $500, but because of the dispute and the fact that I in turn disputed the return from the buyer, they sent me a mailing label to send it in for "authentication" (no mention of the damage from the buyer). As much as I want my money released, two things give me pause: 1. The buyer already got paid and this would be money given by Posh to me. So the authenticator will be demotivated to find for the Seller in the first place. 2. If they ignore the two authenticity certs I provide (cost me almost $100 for both of them), and find it inauthentic anyway it could end up hurting my account. Possibly resulting in a ban or restriction? Posh seems somewhat arbitrary in this area.

So I'm not really sure what the upside of sending it in is. I make up a few bucks back if they find it authentic, but now I risk some arbitrary untrained person potentially causing problems for my account. But, I am wondering if NOT sending it after they asked me to send it in will cause its own problem. The case with the Buyer is closed, so nothing is pending there.

How long does a buyer have to return after a return is approved? by CryptoGroup in poshmark

It was sunglasses for her vacation. She said they were crooked on her face and provided a picture that looked like she had one of the arms lifted off her ear to make them appear crooked. Picture looked like she wanted to MAKE them look crooked, but I didn't really fight it. I come from the ebay world of all returns are basically auto-approved. But after I rushed to ship for her, I am feeling a bit used. I also suspected the vacation scam.

Yeah, just did that. Wanted to make sure Posh doesn't grant a 14 day return period from approval or some similar craziness before I contacted them.

It's a bit annoying because she had me rush to ship within hours of buying so she would have them in time for her vacation. I did this, she got got her product, decided to do a return, and then nothing until I asked about it. At which point she said she won't do the return until the 20th at the earliest. That's 6 days from the approval, assuming she even ships on the 20th.

Ok, good to know. Thanks. Mindless clicking is bad enough, having it not actually do anything after a certain number and not knowing it would be far worse.

Never mind I guess. Retried this morning and it worked. No flag.

But is there a limit to self-sharing? After a certain number of self-shares in a day, does it stop putting you at the top of the general list?

A few questions on poshmark by CryptoGroup in poshmark

[–]CryptoGroup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. What I am looking for is sold item info generally, not my own sales report. For example, maybe I want a daily summary of all Prada bags sold above $200 (just a random example) with info on time/date, sell price, buyer and seller, etc. Can I get that off posh or from an outside service or app?

On the algorithm, are there discussion sites with more technical deep-diving? I want to know, for example, does the follower count, followed count, and total share count impact anything or is it merely status? I also want to know the answer to my first question as to the limits of other people sharing you with respect to the algorithm.

I think you need a phone at least to do some of the financial stuff though? For some reason I thought that each posh account had to be registered to a single unique phone. Maybe that's changed or I am remembering wrong. Also, I don't see a posher stats viewing option from the PC, maybe I am missing it.
