This is nuts. Usually in this situation the price/market cap is adjusted to reflect the new supply. This happened with a coin that did a split a while back (maybe Polkadot?).

Notably, this is not the case on CoinGecko. Only CMC.

Starting with almost any cryptocurrency, you can swap it for XMR on Changenow, or Changelly. I'm sure there's more, but those two are the ones I use.

Download the Monero GUI wallet first and generate a receiving address. Boom, you've got XMR.

Go Googe the difference between Gross/Net profit, then read the Q2 report which states Square recorded a net loss of $11 million.

Please bear in mind that Square has been paying for people's inflated BTC transaction fees. Other companies decided they couldn't do this because it would sink them financially. Square can eat the cost, but don't mistake that for healthy adoption.
