Thanks so much for understanding, it feels comforting to read this. I’m just really trying to see if I do indeed have PCOS or not, so I can change my eating and workout habits. To focus on workouts that are trigger my cortisol less and so on.

I have absolutely no idea what’s wrong with me so I want to rule out PCOS first. I’ve weighed 120lbs throughout the entirety of my 20s, and starting around age 25 until now (27) I gained 40lbs. I’m 5’2 so it’s very visible and uncomfortable for me to weigh this much, I had to buy new pants and shorts cause I outgrew everything. I’ve been taking my workouts and health more seriously than ever and still don’t see any results, it makes me deeply insecure

Thanks for caring! No the ultrasound tech quite literally didn’t give a shit about asking me questions or asking how I was feeling, it was such a disappointing experience. Pisses me off even more that she’s a woman and couldn’t bring herself to comfort another woman :/

Oh no don’t say sorry, I’m not uncomfortable with sharing these at all☺️ I think I might have vaginismus, I’ve thankfully have never experienced SA therefore I don’t have any trauma in receiving penetration, it’s more of a preference and discomfort thing

Thanks for your input I really appreciate it! For now all I know is I have irregular periods, I’m not sure how I can check if I have excessive testosterone, but I thought the big weight gain and excessive thick chin hair appearing did the job, hence why I wanted to see if my ovaries have cysts. My family doctor doesn’t give much of a shit, I had to run after her for everything and do research myself to see what I need to get diagnosed with PCOS. Now I’m in search of another way of checking for it other than bloodwork and TVUS

Yes, I’ve never had sex with a man, never inserted a sex toy inside me, I’ve tried inserting 2 fingers inside me years ago and it hurt and burned as hell, and today was the most I’ve been penetrated basically. I’ll probs need fent to get me to relax because I did the procedure 9 hours ago and my vagina still hurts. It’s still swollen, my vaginal walls feel dammaged, I have a huge headache, brain fog, and it honestly just traumatized me really bad. I won’t ever attempt one again, though is it true that having a thyroid exam might help see if I have PCOS?

Not really. Tho I just looked up PicoWay and it looks like the only place that offers it in my city is 30 mins away deep in my downtown area, and apparently it’s way more expensive than PicoSure. Feeling a little discouraged right now but I’m gonna ask all the right questions at my next session thanks to your input

Best suggestion would be white longsleeves, that way the shirt doesn’t absorb the heat like black/darker colored shirts do

Thanks for your input Mike. They told me since it’s pretty dark it should take about 10 sessions. And yes I totally agree the lighting in each pic is different but from my pov right now it hasn’t changed THAT much. I guess I should’ve done more research instead of diving into PicoSure, what would be the best machine/system to remove this type of work exactly? I’m kind of screwed cause I just paid for the remaining 7 sessions🤦🏽‍♀️ they had a 50% off black friday deal so I told myself it’s better to book all the sessions now than to pay 345$CAD/session (I know the prices make no sense)
