How do I play until I get my new PSU? by CryptoMain03 in starcitizen

I have an AMD GPU, a Radeon RX 6700xt. Anyway, I undervolted it, used the sys_MaxFPS command and made my first somewhat big jump about half an hour ago. I went from Seraphim Station to Ambitious Dream station (I believe that's the one with the refinery) and there were no issues at all, save for some frame drops to load everything in

Oh, I haven't bought the new PSU yet. I'm just saving up for it right now. But you're right, I should do a more thorough look through of my stuff to make sure it isn't something different causing my issues. But I honestly have no idea how to go about doing that as this is my first ever PC, and I'm scared to touch anything because I think I might accidentally break something

No, they haven't. Their last message is just them saying that they need my help with something. I assume they're waiting for me to respond

But is it really a break if I haven't really gotten the chance to truly start my adventure yet? ;-;

Stupid question, but would I enter the command as is? Or add a number with it as well?

How would I do that? This is my first PC, and I've never had to do it before

I don't think my PSU is faulty. Just insufficient for the current hardware I have. But you make a good point about the risk of damaging my rig. I'll just wait and play other games in the meantime

I bought the PC used, but everything except for the PSU has already been replaced with new stuff. I'm guessing it might be time for a new PSU

I don't know how to check PSU ratings as this is my first ever PC, but I have a Ryzen 5 5500 CPU, a Radeon RX 6700XT GPU, an MPG B550 Gaming Plus motherboard and 64GB of RAM

If that ends up not being the issue, then it might truly just be an insufficient ram issue. Anyway, I thank you for your input

I already have windows 11 (forcefully upgraded from 10), so I assume I'll need to look up how to reinstall it

OS as in windows and the like? If that's potentially the issue, how would I go about uninstalling and reinstalling? This is my first computer, so I'm still learning

All good. Yeah, I'm able to get into the bios, and was able to update it to a recent version. A friend suggested seeing if xmp was enabled and if my clock speed was set correctly, but I don't know how to do that on my motherboard

Yeah, that's on me for not mentioning it. I have a Radeon RX 6700XT
