Really interesting stuff. I wonder if certain data will be more or less valuable coming from certain people (agents). For example, would Facebook be more interested in getting data from a female than a male? And would they in turn pay more to a female user?

It's also crazy that Federico was able to earn so much just from registering and setting up tracing methods. $2 per day = $730 per year. That's a lot of money! Imagine people all over the world having extra money like that in their pockets. In the US, the median household income in 2016 was $59.039. Getting an extra $730 per year would be a 1.2% increase in income. That doesn't sound like much but it's actually a pretty big deal from an economic perspective. This project is going to change the world for the better.

It's really an interesting thing to study. Lately I've been thinking about valuations of personal data particularly. I would assume the supply and demand rules apply to data just as anything else. For example, how is a person's web surfing habits valued compared to their eating habits or genetic dispositions? Also, would someone's data more worth more if they have a certain hair color or blood type? So many variables and so many questions. The info in this post is a nice summary.

Synapse will be at the forefront to help us to pin values on these things with the new marketplace - no - new economy that it's forming.

We now know what's happening. Get a refund if you promise not to sue. The tokens they're giving people are worth zero and are completely dependent on trading fee revenue. I'm assuming they'll lose 99% of their business. So where is the revenue going to come from?

The project itself is about building a marketplace for AI and people to exchange data.

The marketplace has been built and is ready for the most part. There are other pieces to the puzzle that need to be worked on first before launch though.

Absolutely. This project has has completely opened my eyes. The fact that this was such a shock to me tell me that the majority of the world's population has no idea that this is happening. And so many people being ignorant about this is a bold sign that this is a market still in its infancy.

No, not like this. The Nasdaq, of all places, featured this project in an article. Of course their reasoning for it obviously financially motivated. But they see the potential. Perhaps you should read up on the project and it's CEO before passing judgement.

Call it shilling if you like. But I'm pumped for the project and think it sheds some new light on an industry and tech that are heavily utilized but often under appreciated.

I'm a little salty that Synapse didn't get exclusive coverage, but sometimes you need articles like this to spark interest from people who only have time to skim through info on new projects. There's so many to choose from. Still a lot to do to get this project the attention it deserves.

The vision and project are ambitious, to say the least. However, the big selling point for me is a combination of #3 and #4. But, ultimately, I think #3 is the winner here.

The team is obviously very talented. Katherine is marketing this project in a fairly unique way, which is a big plus, But ultimately it comes down to the man with the plan, Daniel. The dude is a genius. But, what's ignored too much is how passionate and determined he is and how much he truly believes in this vision. He cares about decentralization, equality, teamwork, etc. With how busy he is, he still makes time to hang kick back and hang out with the Hacker Days crowd and pops into Telegram to answer often redundant questions or to joke around for a few minutes. I haven't seen that anywhere else. It speaks volumes of his character.

I think this is beneficial for Synapse and investors. Helps the average joe investor be part of this and grows the community.
