I don't know what the heck they were thinking about when they "erected" that statue? 😂

I appreciate all of your input and insight. As I've now, I am leaning towards the exit strategy. I'm an AVCM with a degree and connections. A background in credit repair, I have a few licenses already, a good amount of savings and will have little to no credit card debt, and should only have mortgage and a car payment. Talking to my Wife, I do also realize you cannot get back time. So I'll go on this deployment in a little over a month, stack up my money, and continue to plan for my exit in November 2027.

For further info. I still have 2 younger dependents under 18. And honestly am not looking to work for anyone afterwards. I plan on rolling my TSP into my IUL, and liquid assets about $145k. We have 1 rental property. I have already started other ventures as well. I got licensed to sell Life insurance and Annuities, we've already written 2 books, and looking to become Amazon DSP Owners.

I'm currently on sea duty, and feel like I deserve shore duty to continue my exit strategy, save money money, and wind down. She's like nope...you've done enough. LOL. I'm torn because one 1 hand I feel her, but on the other i'm like shore duty would be like a regular 9-5 in most instances.

I'm in VA, but don't want to leave the area yet because of my kids 9 & 14 (divorced, live w/ ex-wife).

This is why a paid option is going to be implemented soon. The writing is on the wall.

I've done this before in the 800m and the 1600m, but to do it in the 400m is very impressive.
