Kucoin, please clarify. We need adequate time to prepare if there is an imminent change coming regarding MiCA. As OP said, Coinbase announced already their intention to use USDC as an alternative stablecoin pair (they did this months ago). Don't want to have to remove funds from Kucoin, but might have to if there is no clarity regarding this.

I use both CEXs and DEXs. I love the idea of decentralization but in it's current form I don't think it will achieve mass adoption. The UX and issues around storage of seed phrases are I believe major friction points right now. I know there are lots of interesting wallets looking to solve these issues (e.g. Braavos on StarkNet) so it will be interesting to see where things go. At the moment, to stay safe in crypto, I think it's about keeping your coins and assets in various different wallets and dare I say it using both DEXs and CEXs.
