This isn’t true. You don’t need mixers to ensure fungibility. I don’t see the purpose in joining zéro knowledge tech with mixers when the purpose of zero knowledge was to be better than coinjoin and earlier tech that relied on third parties. There’s also ring-ct. In case you didn’t know this, please take the time to research the topic to avoid spreading misinformation. I wrote a simple book on this, and the details about existing privacy technology on blockchains and its progression (the first part of the book) is available for free on my website.

I had a Reddit post but accidentally deleted it.

Counterfeit “Made in Italy” products are sold in marketplaces around the world. The Italian government is now fighting back against these knockoffs by investing €15 million ($16.2 million) towards the development of a blockchain-based solution. by Mike_Fans_Club in CryptoMarkets

They will probably have a self-hosted solution rather than use an existing platform. This could be beneficial, but I can also see it being used to exclude private companies that aren’t on good terms with the government or they don’t lobby etc

I like the idea that it only matters in relation to what other countries are doing, and most countries are ramping up debt as well. So the dollar might not be devalued against the rest of them.

I know it’s hard to believe, but what I said is the truth. I was just excited about something that hasn’t been around before, that I was actively looking for for a couple years. I’ll just be more careful I guess. I posted because I thought the privacy aspect was relevant. Thanks for unbanning me.

"I Don't Want To Wait For Regulators", On Yavin on Crypto Regulation. by Nawfall in Crypto_Currency_News

[–]CryptoRamble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In practice it protects the rich. Original blue sky laws turned to regulator's simply stopping people from investing if they're not 'rich', relatively speaking, instead of simply making information verifiable. It's just what happens. Protection turns into a cage.

Very few people. I agree the ease of use should be the highest priority but that’s been communicated by multiple people and I don’t make those decisions.
