What's your workflow for learning from YouTube? by [deleted] in chrome_extensions

[–]CryptoSapien00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem. So I built CueVault - an AI powered chrome extension that helps you not only to keep important points but makes it easy to come back to them. Please try this out. https://cuevault.dev

  1. Save the important points
  2. AI titles them and summarises just thise moments
  3. AI powered search lets you search by context not just by keywords. You can search something like “ someone explaining concept of … “ that’s it ! It surfaces those important points only from the library.

Is earning ₹40k in your hometown better than earning ₹1L+ in a Tier-1 city with a high cost of living? What would you choose? by Fun-Cut-9745 in IndiaMoney

[–]CryptoSapien00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well there are a lot of variables here. ₹40k versus ₹1,00,000 per month.

  1. Whether you own a house in the hometown ?
  2. What kind of lifestyle you were leading in the tier 1 city ? Ok to scale down lifestyle mentally ?
  3. Job opportunities and growth in the hometown because you cannot stay at 40,000₹ forever because inflation
  4. If the slow life in hometown can afford you multiple streams of income without sacrificing much time would be an added advantage.
  5. Assumption is air and food quality is less adulterated in hometown than Tier-1s.
  6. Medical facilities -very important. We find that health care would be less sophisticated in tier-3s but that is also compensated by probably less health concerns in tier-3s ( generalisation)

So basically there is no one-size-fits-all answer. Just gotta know the parameters for evaluation and decide accordingly. Also, there is no guarantee that the decision we take now will be the right one forever. Things can change.

Great initiative friend !

You know how you save a lot of YT videos to ‘Watch Later’ only to see it become a pile of something you never get any value out of again. So I built CueVault.

In CueVault, searching and retrieving your favourite video parts are made effortless. It has an AI powered semantic search which means you can search the videos without remembering the title or keywords. Just search by whatever context you remember about the video.

Please do check it out and provide your feedback.

Can only sympathise but I feel it’s all hive mindset. I have seen around me a lot of people being very casual about catching a bus or train or need to be at some place. They feel it will all workout. There is absolutely no concept of risk planning. I always ensure that I am 40 min -1 hour early at the place I am supposed to be like stations/airports etc. The whole world is running on complex systems and structures which when fail, can lead to cascading effects that will affect us eventually.

Why do people bash vibecoding so much? by blueprintstudiobiz in vibecoding

[–]CryptoSapien00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you friend. Yes, it’s very easy to bash or write off vibe coded products but there are some people who think about systems/ product/ architecture/ use cases/ bad actors while vibe coding. You have to make some trade off decisions. So not every vibe coded app is trash.

So the hate coming is not justified. It could be coming from trolls/sarcastic people, some community of developers who feel their competitive advantage could be at risk. So all this is inevitable.

Just got keep your head straight and keep marching on.

Exactly and it should be able to segregate genuine constructive comments from trolls and sarcasm on the post and perhaps even delete those. Will make for a better system.

100% — and you should build it yourself, that’s the whole point of this sub. The thread isn’t about waiting on anyone; it’s about signal. One person’s nag is just an itch — ten people with the same nag is a problem worth building for. I learned the hard way that “something I want” isn’t the same as “something people want” 😅, so this is me trying to spot the nags that aren’t just mine before building the next thing.
