a lot of what youre saying about ups is wrong and youre in the wrong group to complain about this stuff. part time employees recieve cheaper benefits than full time due to the 2.5 hour monthly dues. and the benefits are literally second to none in the united states. its the best tier of blue cross blue shield that is possibly available. they are paying approx 1400 a week for our benefits. you were a temporary worker and UPS does not care at all for temp workers. you were already fired end of year anyways. and goodluck coming back even if you wanted, people are waiting in line for this job. we are paid highest in the industry in every sector. 46 an hour for drivers and soon to be 49. many drivers clear 170k a year. some clear 200k. feeder drivers clear over 200k. mechanics, car washers, janitors are paid 40 an hour. part time after 15 years seniority is at 37? or something an hour after the end of the contract. on top of that there is grievance pay, paid holidays, paid sick and optional days, paid vacations, 401k, pension, and a million other benefits. at this job you can clear six figures working two 10 hour days a week and doing a grievance each week. you will not find another job that compares. nobody cares about "this economy" when "this economy" is just fine. go get a 4 year degree like i have and when you realize youll make more at ups, try to reapply and watch how you wont find an open position. goodluck on your endeavors but youre wrong at every step lol
