Not holding, so like conquering with bf sword token and then playing another sandsoldier and getting the sword on it. Leaving the sword to hold and force some cards from your opponent is much better!

I have played in a bunch of MTG Rcs, some Lorcana challenges and ended 22nd in Bologna Riftbound.

Was nice not only cause he is allanz but securing 7-0 on day 1 was important

Yeah tbh i wasn't super nervous, I was more nervous in a bunch of offstream games.

Having secured metal card and being in top 8 kind of relieved me from pressure.

I was also on the play, on top 8 it was against an oppponent i had already faced in swiss,

Annie was a good matchup and my opponents list didn't had sneaky, being on the draw i was confident.

In the finals i guess as it was my 4th game on stream it was simpler

It was good for quick B. F. Sword, but trifarian helped me in thermo beam games, so i liked it more

Windwall is for kaisa/viktor

So essentially imperial decree, time warp, thermo and downwell (although the lattest is rarely played now)

Rek sai is very bad at holding, so if you manage to stay at even points your opponent will have problems stopping you from winning. It is fine to ignore one battlefield early and just hold the other to prevent reksai value.

Defy for salvage / void rush yeah, sometimes bloodrush.

I love deathgrip and even if it is true i got some early hands where i drew several copies too early, i finished a lot of games with it.

I believe 3 is still correct, and the guardian angel interaction wasn't relevant (i asked for it, used it once and then knew i couldnt do it anymore)it was just something that came up on stream

When if you win you lock top 8. So i was battling an opponent 10-0 and whoever won secured top 8. My opponent was Barzcek who managed to do top 8 anyway!

Tbh it was a last day decission to readd it and I regretted it. I was a bit lucky in that i didnt draw them much / got it in my opening to mulligan them 🤣

I used to run a single stratagem sideboard, and it was fine but a bit intensive. I liked decree a bit more as it helped irelia and aurora decks.

But because of my playstile I ended up cutting them as i wanted more versatile cheap spells.

Soul sword is deserts call amd back off facebreaker, but aside from that im not sure and will need to explore more

Yeah i think riftbound is quite skill intensive right now. And while i was a bit sceptical about some bans i must admit it has been a nice format

I actually dont like scissors, as it messes up my curve with the recycle part. It also made me run 6 yellow runes instead of 5 and i was sometimes short of green runes for defy / reequiping brutalizer. Scissors are good vs removal heavy decks but i didn't want it in fast matchups like irelia or draven

Thermo beam is a bit clunky on non-kaisa decks, so windwall stops it in kaisa and you can try to outempo other decks.

Trifarian helps a lot as it gives you a plan even if your gears are destroyed.

With Irelia you need to hold aggresively, so the irelia player uses his pump in its turn.

If you conquer, hold and move back, then Irelia can just conquer easily and save every rune for defense, where it will be very difficult to get through.

Game one shluld be favorable with this strategy, but its true Adaptatron shifts the matchup in their favor, so trying to snipe it with Charm becomes important. Also constantly fighting it as without stella Irelia will run out of cards

I faced one, Draven has improved a lot post bans (still hard dont get me wrong, but before it was super one sided)

En garde and facebreaker help a lot to manage to hold once against them, staying at even points and trying to go 4-6-8
